Is anyone else excited that Tanner is back? Hopefully he has an even bigger part this time.

But I really don't think we are getting excited over nothing...

If anything, we are excited at the fact that this is the 49th anniversary of Bond...and they are shooting the next Bond that could be iconic...

Tanner won't get much screen time anyway, who gives a toss if he's back.

Re: the timing of scene #45 in SKYFALL (the toilet scene), I can give a rough comparison with where the similarly numbered scenes were in the most recent movies. In CASINO ROYALE, it was just after Bond arrived in The Bahamas and in QUANTUM OF SOLACE, it was just before the Haiti boat chase.

Draft scripts and call sheets, so it's all very rough. Probably about 25 minutes into the movie would be my guess, but it can vary a lot depending on scriptwriters.

I like to imagine that the scenes with his casual clothes and stubble are him being dragged off of some holiday time spent getting very stoned, eating take-out and playing Portal.

I'm glad Rory Kinnear is back as Tanner. It's always nice when they utilize the same actors for specific roles. It makes the world of Bond feel that much more real.

What is it with Daniel Craig's Bond and toilets?

I like to imagine that the scenes with his casual clothes and stubble are him being dragged off of some holiday time spent getting very stoned, eating take-out and playing Portal.

The point to focus on is the fact that this picture (http://t.co/mgzIWa5l) is taken during the first official day of Skyfall's shooting. Since DC last weekend has been photographed in the Range Rover with a beard, it is logical to think that the interior scenes that were filmed yesterday may have a temporal location within the film closer to the exterior shots made in recent days. Otherwise it would mean that we will see a Bond with a beard in a large part of the film and this contrasts with the intentions of Mendes to make a "classic" Bond.

BOND probably has a beard for two minutes to denote he has been holed up somewhere (it will be a homage to Brosnan's homage beard that was itself a homage to the beard Greg Lazenbee wore to the OHMSS premiere). Without running the risk of a Python fake beard ("are there any women spies here...?") it is simpler and easier to shoot those beardy scenes upfront, wax Danielle's top lip (and do Judi's at the same time) and BOND is back with a shaven haven as the character will no doubt have a refreshed "I'm back!" coda for at least one scene where the product placement is rife and the shooting of it gets fans pants in such a wet tornado that Bond fans bedrooms will reek of urine until October next year.

Hmm, got a rough idea of where that might be in London but difficult to be certain. I'll maybe go for a wander tomorrow.

Definitely starting to get the impression that SKYFALL might feature a chase through London's tunnels though.

The London 2012 Olympics will be yesterday’s news by the time Skyfall opens.
Using it in anyway would only serve to make the film feel dated even when new.

In regards to those pictures posted yesterday of a location, I've confirmed it was in an off-shoot of the graffiti tunnel on Leake Street near London Waterloo Station. Lots of pictures of the whole thing available online, but I'm unable to link to any at the moment. Interesting location.
