Finally after all these years, Jim wants to start enforcing the CBn Forum Policy.
Congratulations on this brilliant first post of 2012.
Brilliant pic! Craig looks great!

Not much, but the Mail has a slightly different version of the still, it's only a bit more of the image showing at the bottom of the frame. But here's a link if you want to see a bit more of Bond's jacket.

I think they raised the shadows in Photoshop since it was too dark.

Yes and the image on the official site is cropped off just under the cuff – this one shows a lot more of the bottom (insert joke about the pool photo here).

Yes, definitely getting the Blade Runner vibe. Really liking the atmosphere in this shot.Very nice! I love how it's an ACTUAL STILL from the movie. It' s an awesome classical pose. Awesome! Anyone here reminded of Blade Runner, though?
Hopefully whomever he's hunting also uses a WWII-era pistol or he might be in trouble!

My first thought was that he was tracking that sniper we saw in the MGW video clip a couple of weeks ago.

Can't find the image of Deckard hunting Zhora but this is close enough.

I'm wondering whether beardy Bond gets called to MI6 in a hurry after the attack in London, and is despatched to Shanghai without delay - so quickly that he's unable to shower, shave or get a fresh change of clothes. After the initial frantic rush calms down, we'll probably have some sort of filler scene involving Bond preparing himself - dinner jacket on, hot then cold shower, shaving, etc.Beard isn't off putting once you see it in action, whatsoever. Surprised we're seeing it in Shanghai - he didn't seem to have it in the poolside pic, so perhaps that scene isn't set in Shanghai as we'd initially thought?

Hmm, not being able to shave during the whole flight to Shanghai? Oh, I see - of course, he has flight attendants to attend to.

I knew the photo reminded me of something; great find, indeed a bit BLADE RUNNER-ish.

I’m up for that. Bearded Bond looks edgy, but I can’t wait for the ‘becoming Bond’ type moment you describe as well. We can get a more in depth look at the rituals Fleming describes in the books. In 2002 I couldn’t wipe the smile off my face when I saw Brosnan staring in the mirror, finally rid of that massive beard. Made me appreciate the normal look of Bond more. We’ve seen the pool image and now this – and I firmly believe Mendes and company are on track to deliver one of the purest interpretations of Bond we’ve seen. The vibes are dead on for me.

Craig´s short hair and the lighting sure look Decardish to me. Good thing in my book. I wonder if the tunes will set up that scene as well as the lighting does?
