I think a scene were Bond takes the time to shave could be good. Especially if it were like the scene in CASINO ROYALE where Bond pours himself a drink after killing Obanno. One of the things I liked about CARTE BLANCHE was the way Deaver had Bond shaving with a heavy, ivory-handled straight razor simply because it required a lot of skill to handle properly. So I think if Bond took the time out to do something so simple - but requiring so much concentration - as a means to forget the evils of the world would be a great scene.1) Making a big deal of it being shaved off - the cheesy "we've got our Bond back" nonsense, like with the dinner jacket in Casino Royale. I'm pretty sure there's no issue here.

I´ve been using an ArcitecTM myself for the last couple of years and they´re quite good. Anyways, if they could conjure a scene as fun as the one in GF, in the plane, I´d be a happy Bond fan.More likely, he'll just use another NorelcoTM.

And will the main villain have Angels of Death to disperse "Skyfall" around the world from his hide out in Scotland?
Does he also just look kind of...sickly?
Maybe he's infected with the deadly "Skyfall virus" and the villain sends him on a search across London for the antidote. It's possible.
Skyfall = Biological Warfare? That's actually an interesting thought. Skyfall would be an appropriate name for a biological agent.

I think you'll find the intention is that the thread is official, not the photos. It's to stop people from creating a new thread every time a new photo or set of photos emerges.
These don't appear to be OFFICIAL shots, so I'm not sure what they're doing in the OFFICIAL thread. Take me to the unofficial thread, please.
I think you'll find the intention of my post was a joke, designed to highlight the ridiculousness of anything on a unofficial fan forum being labelled 'official'.

Somehow, they'll find a way to market a vintage one-blade Gillette and make it a hot GQ item. Wait and see.More likely, he'll just use another NorelcoTM.

Anyway, how this plays out for the duration of the Pinewood shoot, I don't know.
Am sure this is just business as usual.

You have me convinced - sort of. It would probably be hard to cheese up anyway. It would actually be a nice departure away from the excessive use of mass market commodities if he shaved with some very particular, hand made etc. manual razor (that would subsequently sell like hotcakes, of course, with a couple going to yours truly).

I nice new twist on this would be cool - and a nice departure from excess seriousness.

Are these guys part of the crew? Also, you can clearly see a boom microphone there in a couple of shots, so there we have it, real evidence of filming that sequence of Bond exiting the Gallery.

And it does look like he´s thinking about "the meaning of life". Although if I was married to Weisz, that would really be an easy question to anwser.

There could be any number of reasons:Interesting to note that the National Gallery signs are very visible on the outside of the building, so it can't be standing in for another more fictitious location. Now... why is Bond at the National Gallery?
- We know there is an underground bunker in London. Maybe it's under Trafalgar Square, with a secret exit concealed in the gallery to allow agents to come and go unnoticed.
- Maybe Bond is enjoying a day out with a lady friend when he gets an urgent call and needs to come in.
- Maybe he is tailing a suspect through the gallery, not unlike the Bodyworlds exhibit in CASINO ROYALE.
