I'm not saying it's the best recent Bond poster, that one goes in a big way to the CR teaser but it's not the pile of crap that alot of you are saying it is. I like this pose by Craig much better than the lying down one or the individual banner one. Yes, the teaser may be a tad better but you have to admit, it does scream Bond! Now does it scream photoshop as well? Yes, but unfortunately most movie posters scream photoshop.

Yes! That's the sort of thing i was expecting. More emphasis on the union jack, Bond looking more comfortable and the gun barrel.

Another thing that's bugged me with all of this is their need to airbrush Daniel Craig. They didn't in the teaser poster and sure he didn't look as "pretty", but it looked much better. Here it seems like Daniel was busy so they had to photograph a Madame Tussauds sculpture. Not sure what the thinking was in all that.

Outside of the teaser poster, I've found the poster campaign for Skyfall to be quite lazy. It's like whoever was in charge walked into the designer's office and said, "Hey, I need you to throw together a Bond poster for me, but we need it done in half an hour. Just get one of the stock photos from the shoot and throw a gunbarrel or 007 logo behind it."

I didn't expect Sony to reincarnate Bob Peak to illustrate this poster but this is weak. The CR posters (especially the teaser) encapsulated the mood of the film. The QOS posters were lackluster but this last one for Skyfall is tired IMHO. Sony could've held a fan contest for the poster or hired someone off O-Desk and come up with something more distinct. It simply doesn't live up to the visuals that we've seen throughout the production and post-production process.

I hope this doesn't make the Blu-Ray cover.

Both of you did embarrassingly greater work than the official designers. The poster campaign just reeks of desperation, pleading for fans to remember that "This is JAMES BOND! You remember him, don't you? Sure you do! Just look at this Bondian™ pose with the classic gunbarrel! And LOOK back there at that London skyline! Remember? Bond's English! Right-o!!"

(Yes, I really do get that from those posters.)
