It looks like her left arm is bent and cradling something, like a file folder. But I can't be sure.

Its to bad those character posters never made it into the Bond Poster Book but I bet they'll probably be in the On the Set Of SF book wont they?

It does, but at the same time if you notice that giant pocket beside her right arm, the object appears to be identical to that pocket. It could be a folder, but I think it looks more like her her hand is simply holding the side of the pocket (which is very strange).

Great pictures! It's a nice touch that M has a character poster. It does kind of look like she is holding something, more like a file or folder. It would be really interesting if it was a concealed weapon of some sort, like a gun. It could hint at how dire things are getting since I don't think we've seen her with one.

Also love that with each picture released Bond just keeps looking better and better

I don't think so JimmyBond, I think it's number order of the Bond films, so each lot is numbered corresponding to the film number the items will be from... so 2 is 'From Russia With Love', 16 is 'Moonraker', 23 'Skyfall' etc.

I'm completely aware that Skyfall is the 23rd entry and that's why it has number 23 beside it. My point that I thought was pretty clear but I guess it was not, is that I would like to see if there are other stills from other movies ie. a Goldfinger one with number 3 beside it etc.

I doubt it. Daniel wears those in a number of interviews I think. They may be a personal pair. Check the Istanbul vlog. He's wearing some shades there. They seem similar.

I wondered if after disarming the baddies and restraining Silva on Hashima, Bond throws on some shades that he picks up off one of the bad guys (that happens to be Craig's personal pair).

Sounds awesome if true! Would be a very cool Bond moment. Although it would seem like an Anniversary exclusive gag.

Didn´t someone say there was a pair of sunglasses in the table that Silva uses to pick up his antique gun? Maybe those are Silva´s sunglasses? Could be a nice touch.

In any event, it would be incredibly cool and funny if Craig beat the hell out of all of Silva's men, restrains Silva in some way, searches his or his thugs' pockets, finds a set of shades and casually throws them on as he signals MI6 to come in from extraction. After all, it does look bright there.

Don´t y´all remember that said picture where one could see a pair of sunglasses on a tray or something? Right beside Silva when he shoots his antique gun. Aren´t those the same sunglasses?

Yep, I think those shades are Daniel's, not part of Bond's look in those particular scenes. However, I can't be sure that they're not used off the cuff as suggested above! That would be quite neat.

Well, they are Daniel´s, that´s for sure. He´s been wearing those for a while now. Blast, now I sound like Germanlady! Oh well, I like sunglasses. In the Turkey shoot he alternated between those Tom Ford aviators and the Black Persol ones. But I´ll repeat what I´m thinking here: in the table where Silva had his antique gun there were sunglasses. One can only speculate. Cheers.
