Oh my god! This is awesome! Thank you so much!

Although, they should definitely hire a better photographer, these pictures are so grainy, and they were taken in the bloody day light

Very cool; thanks for sharing. Quite a lot of London in this, it seems.

Sweet pics. Bond is looking dapper. Though that is one crazy short hair-cut.

I guess he will have his beard in more than just the one scene that was filmed earlier.

Maybe it's a trick of the light, but it almost looks like he's begun cultivating a goatee. As long as he doesn't get much scruffier than this, I think he looks fine. Bond should look seasoned.

I'm sorry, to my eye, he looks like a 60-year-old man. That grey beard is nasty. But maybe all this will work in context, or look better on film than in these pics. I just hope this isn't some up their own [censored] "artist" decision to reinvent James Bond that just proves to be a big distraction.

I really think Skyfall is going to challenge tradition in a big way. I'm talking The Man From Barbarossa here. I'm going to need to go into this one with an ultra open mind. I don't know. Maybe I could get into this in the same way that I can (now) get into Barbarossa.

As long as they don't shoehorn Nazis into it.

I don't like the stubble. It suited Pierce, but not Dan! :S

I agree. Facial hair is not becoming of Daniel Craig, and it ages him instantly by 10-15 years. Here's hoping this is a contained section of the film, and it's plot-relevant.

I can't imagine, with all the talk of 'classic Bond' for the anniversary, that they're doing anything grossly off track of the norm. That includes bearded Bond.

I think the extremely short hair doesn't help either. I like Craig's Bond's short-cut, but this is shorter than ever. Im curious why.

But it was exactly the sort of usage I'm talking about. Incidental, plot-specific, and temporary. The same as I'm guessing we're seeing here.

2 hours of arbitrarily and purposefully bearded Bond by the character's own selection is not something I think we're going to see.

Perhaps it's all so that M will be able to say, "No spy of mine is going out on a mission looking like that! I'll shave you myself!"

Agreed. It's a great outfit. Very Bondian and so far removed from the "I'm just wearing any old suit because Bond wears suits" style of the Brosnan era

Hell yeah!! Great picture of Daniel!! It's a very Bond-esque look to me..Seriously, why are people getting into such a tizzy about the SHORT stubble which Bond is sporting?? God, you'd think it's 2005 all over again and the CraigNotBond folks were back again..Relax people..Wait to see the film..whether Bond has stubble or not has NO impact on the quality of the movie as a whole..

Is it just me, or does the thigh-length coat, grey trousers, white shirt and tie kind of look like a school uniform?

Or maybe it's something a teacher at a boarding school would wear.

"Class, meet Mr. Bond, your new PE teacher."

For anyone interested, the steps that Craig's pictured walking down during the filming belong to the National Gallery in Trafalgar Square.
