So - some more to rip into pieces :)

And Fiennes recently did a top-secret turn in "Skyfall," the Sam Mendes-directed James Bond film. Daniel Craig is back for his third go-round as 007, Judi Dench is back as MI6 boss M, Javier Bardem is the villain, and Fiennes is ...
"I can't talk about who and what I'm playing, but apart from that what would you like to know," he quips.
"It's a great script by John Logan, so as Bond scripts go it's pretty smart, pretty intelligent. A lot more character-driven, perhaps, than normal, but it has all the things Bond fans like, with the chases and the girls and the fights and the gadgets. ...
"I have great hopes that it will raise the bar for Bond films."

Turkish sailing boat to feature in Skyfall?

Yesterday an email was sent out by Matt Sherman who runs The James BondList with some intriguing information. In the email Matt says:

I’ve been tipped off that just under $12,500 U.S. will get you one week’s charter on the 56-meter long “Regina,” the fantastic “gulet” (traditional two-mast sailing vessel) reserved by EON Productions for SKYFALL filming in the Turkish Riviera this May. Sail along the “Turquoise Coast” and see Bond’s new boat.

I found this photo of "Gullet Regina", it's 56m and available for charter in Turkey - so that all fits.

Guess we'll have part of the Skyfall finale on the Regina. Fits perfectly for a Bond finale, reminds me TMWTGG.

So, let me get this straight, you imagine that as well as the big battle at the manor house in the Scottish Highlands, Bond will be sailing about on a boat in Turkey, all as part of the climax, yes?

You’ll have to forgive me when I say, I can’t see it myself.

Perhaps Bardem will be using it as his 'base of operations?' Either that or he's going for one stylish getaway.

Trustworthy? Take it with a (massive) pinch of salt...

http://www.deadlinen...budget-airline/

BOND star Daniel Craig swapped the normal trappings of movie stardom for an economy flight out of Glasgow last week.
Craig – whose normal mode of transport as Bond is an Aston Martin – caught a Jet2 flight to Istanbul.
It is not clear whether the in-flight catering arrangement extended to a vodka martini – shaken or stirred.
The 43-year-old actor jetted out after a day’s filming in the Highlands for new Bond movie Skyfall, with his co-star Dame Judi Dench.
Movie director Sam Mendes also joined the stars, as well as 100 crew members for the next leg of filming due to take place in Turkey.
The budget airline normally fly from Glasgow to Dalaman, on Turkey’s south-west coast, but the entire aircraft was chartered for the trip to Istanbul.

It seems very doubtful that Dench and Mendes would be on a chartered flight to Turkey, so that they could arrive there in the early hours of Friday morning only to be on set first thing on Saturday morning in central London. Why?

Business is booming for Gordon Low,apparently:

Gordon Low Products @gordon_low
Another SealEco EPDM 0.75mm liner ordered for the new James Bond film. Either there is a lot of blood in this one or a lot of water!

This obviously means that the set isn't small ,contrary to what had been suggested long ago.

As ever, you're quite right. Dench flew from Glasgow to London. I can't speak for Mendes or Craig, but I can see no reason why they wouldn't do the same. Tabloid trash once more!

I can´t see any star travelling on a commercial airliner unless they have booked the whole first class for themselves. People just would bother them.

@Germanlady: Nice find.
The fact that Skyfall will be more character-driven than the previous films was quite predictable. What's the point of hiring such a stellar cast if you don't intend to take advantage from their superior acting skills?

I'm almost afraid to post this (because someone will post over night (here in US) something to prove me wrong) but it seems like the well has run dry for a few days of sighted locations or actors seen. Do we think the crew has (in fact) moved on to Turkey or inside at Pinewood?

Yeah it seems the breaks have been slammed by the production in terms of location shooting in London. We've seen a lot, though, so I'm not complaining. I'm pretty sure they're gearing up for Turkey.

I seem to recall reading somewhere that production would move to Turkey at the end of February, and may continue there for up to three months (which would make sense, giving Mendes roughly four months to edit the film; I remember Marc Forster complaining that he had four months to edit QUANTUM OF SOLACE when he would have preferred six). So I'd say that if this is true, then most of what is to be shot in London has been shot. There may be some more to be done at Pinewood and/or up at Glencoe, but I think the focus has well and truly shifted to Turkey.

I think that they're probably inside Pinewood. There was a rumour that they'd be filming on location in Whitehall, Westminster over the upcoming weekend, so I'd guess they'll still be in the UK.

Imagine that, just popping out from the office to meet 007. Jealous!

Well I'll still say I'm impressed by the current level of secuirty and secrets they've kept with the amount of exterior and UK based shooting.

Well, here we go again! Another weekend, another ton of pics and tweets. Let them come!

That's quite the assumption. SKYFALL has been filming since the first week of November. In that time, only a handful of weekends have actually produced "a ton" of pics. Most of the time, we get one or two photos, but it's only the past two weekends (and the first two) that we got anything significant. And I suspect it will be even harder to get photos once production moves to Turkey. So please, don't go getting your expectations up. For your own sake, at least.
