"The Wharf can exclusively reveal that some scenes will be shot at The Four Seasons Hotel in Westferry Circus. In the best secret service tradition the hotel refused to comment."

This isn't the same person that said last week (regarding the decision of changing the location for the film finale):"When we have an announcement to make about the location we will be sure to send out a press release.”
That's for sure!

where did you get that from? And it interesting that they are using London for many of the scenes it seems!Would you like to see a horse race in the next Bond movie? Seems that they are going to shoot in Royal Ascot today!

Someone filming at Ascot today, presumably an extra, posted the following on Twitter earlier:Would you like to see a horse race in the next Bond movie? Seems that they are going to shoot in Royal Ascot today!

Starring in new bond - Skyfall and have to give a talk to 300 Chinese extras

Pinyin Shànghǎi Pǔdōng Guójì Jīcháng means Shanghai-Pudong International Airport. Most likely the official photo released today refers to the airport. Stay tuned for the next news!

What a sense of humour! They filmed more than one scene obviously. One of them was set at The Shanghai International Airport. They obviously like the idea that race courses look like airports!

Good info, thanks!News from Skyfall: today they filmed a scene set at the Shanghai International Airport.I think that the 300 extras were used in that scene.

Assuming the Shanghai Airport scenes were shot at Ascot Racecourse, then I reckon the official photo was for a separate shoot at Pinewood tonight. The scene is obviously another from China, so could equally be the airport, but difficult to say for certain.
Keep up the good work, Luigi!
Ascot Racecourse: Last used in A VIEW TO A KILL, but not impossible to imagine as an airport.

Eh? I'm just saying: they've used a racecourse to double as an airport before.
Not sure what you think I meant as I'm a bit baffled by your reply...?

Windsor Castle is right there, seems pointless being there if it doesn't feature. Having said that, Windsor isn't miles away from Pinewood (well, it is miles away.... just not that many) so it may just be a conveniently nearby location for some exterior shots of .... an estate agent, which this seems to be.
Could just be using it as a street? Does seem odd that they would be filming THERE, specifically, but then we don't know what the script calls for. It is very near to both Windsor Castle and St George's Chapel, though. Although I guess technically the chapel is part of the castle.

I reckon the official photo was for a separate shoot at Pinewood tonight.
If it was an interior and filmed on a sound stage at Pinewood, they would not have to film at night for night, if you see what I mean.
A night shoot interior says that they were out of the studio to me.

Sure they're not even supposed to have their phones out at all on set. Reckon we're pretty lucky to have got any "unofficial" pictures from a closed set.I don't understand... no one has even bothered to take a goddamn video? *sigh*
Yep, I'm going to backtrack on my initial post. After seeing the pictures that emerged, it seems clear that the night shoot referred to on the @007 Twitter feed was indeed at Ascot. If it was an interior and filmed on a sound stage at Pinewood, they would not have to film at night for night, if you see what I mean.

I have a feeling that London might be in the film for longer than we actually thought. I presume Bonds staying there. Why would he be staying in London? What about his flat? Hmmm. The questions!

I can honestly see Daniel Craig battered and bruised standing in his room,
The thing is, as I understand it, they are not filming in the rooms. They are filming in the spa and pool area, which is rather special…
