Ah, the old Eve Hoe.

Can see this, when doubtless she rebuffs Bond in some way.

Can also see something like "is half-Chinese" therefore Eve Ho.

Sorry I'm late on this aspect of the film, but the ideas just came to me. These aren't as amusing as Jim's but how about Eve Kendall, a tribute to "North By Northwest"?

Another possibility is Eve Adam, a tribute to the series' original, and most iconic, production designer. Her flat could even have a fireplace. Or she could offer Bond an apple.

Yes, obviously the actors can't perform some of the more advanced manoeuvres so they sit in the car pretending to steer whilst the matey on the roof of the car drives like a boss. It's been a staple of the film-industry for some years now.

For what it's worth, a Twitter user has posted that they saw Timothy Spall near the filming in Farringdon. There's nothing to say he was actually involved though - he might have just been at the pub - but just mentioning it for future reference!

In fact, I'd hazard that he's not involved. He wasn't spotted on the previous occasion when Craig, Dench and Rory Kinnear were filming at Smithfield previously.

My sister who lives in London sent me an email saying she was walking to the store this morning and was asked to be a stand in/extra for the new bond film.

She said:
"I didn't do much...just walked down the sidewalk as they filmed a sportscar racing down the street. But if you go see it, I'm wearing a blue baseball cap, my black north face jacket, a backpack, and my insanely yellow running shoes (not exactly what I would have chosen had I known it was my big debut, but nonetheless, easy to pick out!"

Interesting to see how the filming order goes.. Start of filming, Craig appears with stubble and they shoot part of the Range Rover sequence in Smithfield...then he's clean shaven and now the stubble is back and we're right back to square one with the Range Rover sequence..hmm..

Either that, or it was planned - because the first shots were taken without the driver on top, I'm willing to bet that the entire section was shot for exteriors and long shots. Now that there is the addition of the stunt driver in the rig, they're probably going for close-ups of Craig and more action-y scenes, allowing the actor behind the wheel of the car to look like he's driving it without the need for stunt driving because the guy on top is the one who is really in control.

I mean ‘additional’ as in ‘more’. They shot some long shots last year and yesterday they came back and did a few more close-ups of Craig.

The unusual thing is that Craig has to be bearded again.

It is not the Brosnan beard in DAD, but it looks a bit strange that you filmed with beard, then shaved, then wait a couple? of days, then beard again...

Good find. There were suggestions they previously filmed there at the start of filming (shortly after the first set of Smithfield shooting), so that makes perfect sense. Must be doing a few more reshoots/additional shots while the stubble remains in place.

Tweets from @k1yam about SKYFALL filming this evening. Appears to be in The City, and one report says it's near Liverpool Street Station. Appears to be quite a distinctive building, but note the white car parked at the front - blue number plates - Chinese number plates, I believe.

London appears to be doubling for China quite a bit. I doubt it has anything to do with budget cuts. And in any event, if money can be saved on one thing to be put toward another then they are absolutely going to do it.
