Yea, and you should have seen me in one of those Doctor No radiation suits buying it. A: not to get contaminated. B: So no one would recognise me. One has to look after ones reputation you know. That is how it works - especially at the racist, homophobic, slanderous rag that is the Daily Mail.

My reputation came in tatters from the start so there is less damage.Yea, and you should have seen me in one of those Doctor No radiation suits buying it. A: not to get contaminated. Actually, I was very fortunate with the Mail supplement. The shop had run out of said rag but someone had clearly not been interested in "unseen" Bond pics and discarded the desired prize for ZI to pick up for free.

Naomie Harris' Skyfall discovery
Naomie Harris has discovered muscles she ''never'' knew she had while filming action scenes for new James Bond movie 'Skyfall'.
Naomie Harris' body has "completely changed" since she started preparing for 'Skyfall'.
The British actress plays field agent Eve in the forthcoming James Bond movie and is "very happy" with all the physical preparation she has had to do for the role.
She said: "Eve sees herself as Bond's equal and she's very active. I get to do lots of fighting and driving and stunt work and I've been training on the gun range most days.
"It's been a lot of hard work. My body's completely changed.
"I've got muscles where I never knew it was possible to have muscles, which is all very exciting. I'm very happy about that."
Naomie also insisted her character's surname is not Moneypenny, despite speculation, and while she wouldn't disclose what it actually is, she promised it will make fans laugh.
She said told Empire magazine: "I don't know where that all started. Everybody keeps saying, 'Moneypenny! Moneypenny! Moneypenny!' No. Moneypenny is an office-bound sort of character. Eve is a field agent.
"Will her name make people laugh? Um, yes. Yes, I suppose it will."

To be fair, that's only half a quote. Harris said the same thing at the press conference, but added that while Eve thinks she is Bond's equal, "she is really his junior", and it was said in a way that suggested it was a part of her characterisation. So I'm guessing we'll be seeing an Eve who tries to be like Bond, but ultimately cannot stand the pressure of the job. I think it's a nice little riff on the "Bond's equal" trope.Oh, God

Eve O'Stick
Eve O'Lution
Eve St Laurent (depressingly probable as product placement)
Will probably be Eve Fleming, come to think of it. Hello Mum.

Hmm, sounds very standard. Jynx was touted exactly the same way, though I'm mainly getting terrifying flashbacks to Thandie Newton's character in Mission Impossible 2.

Go back to the November press conference - Harris said something slightly different, which inspires a bit more confidence. She said that Eve thinks she is Bond's equal, but she is really his junior. So I think we'll see a character who is trying to be Bond's equal, but is not up to the task.Hmm, sounds very standard. Jynx was touted exactly the same way, though I'm mainly getting terrifying flashbacks to Thandie Newton's character in Mission Impossible 2.

Right, seems she is an arrogant cookie, who will get her fingers burned to realise, she is NOT his equal. She probably causes some trouble for Bond with being overly confident and he needs to straighten out her faults.

She was never going to be "an action woman". All of the stories that suggested she would be were based on Naomie Harris in the role. Now that Harris has confirmed she is not and was never going to be Moneypenny, it is fairly obvious that there was no substance to the "action Moneypenny" rumours.I hated that idea when I found out that she would be an action woman. Ridiculous.

What would be reallllyyyyy funny was if they got Romola Garai to play MP, given than that´s what Ben Whishaw called her in The Hour, being a Fleming fan.I would be REAL funny, if they do put MP in with an so far unknown actress, whereas we were all guessing about NH. I would love that staying a secret, that only sees the daylight, when we see it in the theater. Like BIIIGG surprise...

Eve Swallows?
Hold on here, this is a family forum. Do we allow that kind of innuendo?
If we do, I want to see Elizabeth's expression when someone explains it to her.
