I know my post clearly states i realize that now.But BOND 23 is not in "development hell". And what IS development hell? Why is that phrase bandied about so easily?
If a film is not being made that does not imply it is in development hell.
Bond 23 delayed indefinitely

It's Elliot Carver here. Stamper has kidnapped Mr Suszczyk, and he forced him to reveal me his username and password.
Don't worry about him, we'll release him in a couple of hours.

I'm willing to bet that behind the scenes creative work is still going on back at EON. They're getting ready for when the money and legal issues are worked out. They'll hit the ground running.
Actually, this all works out as free publicity for the next Bond movie and gets Bond back in the public eye again. That may be another part of why this is going on...

Doubt it, as soon as this mess gets sorted out, we'll get our 3rd Craig Bond.

Here's hoping anyway... at this point, I remain confidant we'll still at least get three Craig films.

Can't wait to see Daniel Craig in The property of a lady.....I've been eyeing the 14th of May since EON made that year ruining announcement last week. I would hope for an announcement on the 14th with good news. Let's not have a rehash of 1990, eh?

or whatever bond 23 winds up being called

Bond 23 in Canada interesting I would of liked it.This is probably a mistake on their part but yesterday I was watching Channel 5 news and they said that Bond 23 has been put on hold and that preproduction had stopped in Vancouver.
Interesting. tdalton would be interested in that, because I think he liked the idea of Canada as a location, and also the idea that Corinne would return.

It would be awesome if they were to make the new film set in Canada. Any direction that they go in that would bring about Stana Katic's return to the franchise is a direction that I'll fully support. Also, it's well beyond time that Bond went somewhere he hadn't been before, namely Canada or Australia.

As a Seattle boy, I wouldn't mind 007 in the Pacific Northwest. Vancouver's a great city. After all these years, I've got a long list of sequences I'd like to see set up there as well my home town.
Somebody have the pre-production and location managers call me.

Why not an adaptation of Bond's offscreen adventure with the Mounties in The Spy Who Loved Me? Might work quite well...It would be awesome if they were to make the new film set in Canada. Canada has been mentioned before (mostly in speculation) and both Montreal and Toronto have been bandied about. I guess we just add it to the list.

The Hobbit has officially been delayed until 2013. The article does not state this, but I am sure it has to do with MGM's situation.
