I can only echo what HP said and everything that I've said before, this has some twists and turns that you can't see where it's going to end up and I'm enjoying the getting there.
Keep it up, Volante!
Thanx once again guys. Glad the story is still keeping you on your toes.
There will be no spoilers here.
You will have to wait till the weekend for the next thrilling episode !

For those new to the Fan fic scene, one new chapter is released every week.
We're now up to Chapter 8.
...and the action is hotting up
From the depths of the Baltic Sea, a Royal Naval submarine intercepts a single covert transmission; revealing the existence of a Russian spy as that of a prominent UK Banker.
James Bond embarks on a mission to determine the fate of the suspect.
But soon discovers he is not alone in his search.
As the World prepares for war, its fate hangs on the questions posed by
a Church of death and a man of vision
When Bond discovers the answers, he is propelled on a
roller coaster ride to stop a disaster of biblical proportions.
As time runs out, the odds against Bond grow longer,
until he is forced to take the ultimate gamble.
“To gamble everything is dangerous, Mr. Bond”
“But the Double 0 gives me the best odds”
“Odds can change, Mr. Bond”
“But my number remains the same”
“Then I guess you’re a dangerous man, Mr. Bond”
“Then I guess you’re right”
“I can see now you’re a double 0 man, Mr. Bond”
“Then you know why I’m here”

Chapter 9
BETRAYAL
Only three weeks till my holiday; which means only three more weeks of BOMBSHELL
Have you worked it out yet?
Who is the Traitor?
Is it Jenifer? Who's side is Mila on? Is Bill Armstrong a spy?
Is it Burrows? is it Tolliver?
Heres a litte piece to help you decide
M’s hands came down onto the desk “You are aware gentlemen that I am in charge of MI6. When a Royal Naval Commander and a Defence communications officer go missing on the same day as two unidentified men and a Royal Marine are killed in Faslane,
I notice things like a car belonging my department being in the area”
M paused for breath, his North East accent was on the verge of escape.
He continued “Now unless, that Jag can drive itself down to London”
Q cut in “Well I am working on a remote…”
M jumped up “Shut up Q, I know Bond was in the country. I know he’s in Sweden right now, the bloody Americans told me. What I want to know is what the hell he’s been doing there?”

CHAPTER 9
BETRAYAL
I think its worth blowing the trumpet
ONE WEEK ago I asked the question
"What will we see first.Chapter 8 or 800 downloads"
In the past week BOMBSHELL has been downloaded over 200 times
Offical figures now stand at 1040 downloads
I'm also delighted the discussion is arousing interest with 5177 visits.
So come on PEOPLE leave some more comments and topics of the story for discussion.
Seriously, THANKS for the support.
I do try to make it interesting with visual potrayals of the characters, so please let me know how acurate you feel they are
Cheers

Yes it's all building nicely.
Personally I got a real buzz writing and then reading the scene between M and Q. Call me soppy but I really was able to see Tim Healy and Nigel Havers, arguing at Vauxhall Cross.
...ah well roll on the weekend where the climax begins.

CHAPTER TEN
The SEDLEC OSSUARY
“The Ossuary of the "Bone Church," as it is popularly known contains more than 40,000 human skeletons”
Manic looked at Skedar, wondering if he had understood the meaning of the words. Skedar smiled and nodded his massive head to show that he had understood perfectly. Skedar turned toward the group and smiled. Even Gregory laughed at the memory of the story.
Bee looked over at Manic, and wondered just what awaited them inside.

Ivan Sharvin; has already attempted to kill Jenifer Foxwell once.
Now he has her in his clutches, as he heads toward
The Sedlec Ossuary
Mila Satu has recieved an invitation to attend an animal rights meeting at the same church.
Waiting there are Skedar, Manic and Bee, they wait for the couriers to arrive; to distribute a deadly virus.
BEE
Secretary of State Ben Tolliver, has changed his plans, and is currently travelling to Sedlec.
The CIA and FSB, led by Felix Leiter and Thomas Sharapov (respectively) are hunting down Skedar; in a race against time to stop the virus leaving the church.
But their joint mission is about to be halted.
The odds seem pretty much in favour that Skedar will achieve his goal, and distribute the virus.
WHERE'S BOND????
Don't worry he's on his way - THE ODDS CAN CHANGE
But the number remains the same

Rats = nastiness. And I know you said you had Rupert Everett more in mind for Tolliver, but I couldn't stop picturing Cillian Murphy again.

Posted 31 January 2010 - 06:33 PM
Its better than a Poirot plot but its building to one almighty climax
talk about tension
my only confusion is Tolliver I have always seen him as Peter Mandelson
"That slimey bugger" to quote Dame Judy CR. The photos of the bone church really brought the piece to life Thanx. As well as a nother tender Bond momment as anotherone bites the dust

Traitor's Gate
A Teaser
Bond flung his arm up in a pathetic attempt to block the blow; but it slid past his arm and crashed into his head; as the arm was being withdrawn Bond caught hold of Sharvin’s sleeve and pulled him down over the top of him. Momentum took hold and Sharvin slid down the bank, dislodging more chippings as he fell.
