Could a moderator please give me a steer on whether we can post parts of the lyrics and discuss them ahead of the release date?
I'd rather not see any lyrics, might disagree with my oath of SKYFALL spoiler celibacy...

Haunting is the only way to describe it.
This movie seems to be shaping up into something really special.
Bring back Adele for Bond 24!

Pretty much spot on. Pleasingly the lyrics don't particularly give much away either. It is really not all too much that one could reveal within, whatsit??? 50 seconds? Double that? One expects ample use of 'sky' and 'fall' and maybe both together, with a dash of soul and some Bond theme pepper to go with it...

It's just Skyfall, not Let the Sky FallCan't say that I really care for her music at a normal time, but she'll probably be great for the new Bond theme with a dramatic flourish in 'Let the Sky Fall'!

It's very much along the lines of the early songs, with the inclusion of the James Bond Theme.

If you can't hear the chords, then you don't know the Bond theme.

There's only the preview all over the internet, right? Not the full song?
Yeah, a 90 second preview.

Adele I believe is the second youngest singer to do a Bond song behind Carly Simon
She is the youngest. Tom Jones is the second youngest, 25 years old back in '65 with 'Thunderball'

Nice chords of the James Bond theme. May take a while to win me over, and probably will REALLY do it in context with the main titles. Not being a fan of Adele's vocals puts me back a peg or two, but the lyrics sound really clever. Meanginful, and emotional and as sharp as daggers.
Love the use of the actual title of 'Skyfall' too, and the lyrics speak volumes about what could be involved in the finished film! Exciting times indeed!

Youngest was Sheena Easton, surely?
You sir, are right.
1.) Sheena Easton - 21 years old
2.) Adele - 24 years old
3.) Tom Jones - 25 years old
and so forth.
