First time I ever heard Chasing Pavements I thought this chick had the voice for a Bond theme. They definitely made the right choice here, but I still want Muse at some point or another for the Craig era. Adele and Muse both as Bond artists would be just too perfect.

Second worst kept secret, actually. The title of the film was out of the bag a month or so before the Producers announced it at the press conference.

I won't post it here for obvious reasons. But I've heard a bit of the song. I'm actually shaking because it sounds so cool. Even has a hint of the Bond theme in it!

I will say this though, it wasn't hard to find it.

Found it! Amazing, soulful!

And yes the Bond theme is there. It was only a 50 second preview, mind you. But the lyrics match-up to what we know and it's definitely Adele.

Impressive 90 second snippet kicking around. Really liking the hints of Bond theme in the piano part. Plus, just so I can get in there first by saying so, more than a suggestion of the best of Bassey.

Got it, not sure if I should post it in here.

Other than that, after giving it a second go around, I like it, but was expecting something more along the lines of 'Rolling In The Deep' (wishful thinking) It's not bad, but I'm not jumping up and down for it. Besides the orchestra and the hints of the Bond Theme, which I loved, it's just okay. Then again, it is a 90 second preview. My mind will more than likely change come Friday, or at least I think so.

If there's any contemporary female artist who could be analoguous to Shirley Bassey that's Adele. Excellent choice and perfect antithesis to the colossal blunder of 40th anniversary...

Need to quit listening to this clip before I completely break down in tears...Hah!! It is so lovely and given what we think is going to happen in Skyfall, its an absolutely perfect heart-wrenching song...What the hell did I ever see in "Another Way To Die"..hands down that has now dropped to the 2nd all time worst Bond theme song ever, (after Madonna's Die Another Day)..
