Just a computer question. How could the image be in a web directory if it wasn´t online yet? :S

A member of an Adele forum posted this:
"Look, I feel really bad now because I have heared it a few times.
I will say this,"IT IS ONE IF NOT THE BEST THING ADELE HAS DONE........so far". The pitch of some of the notes are spine tinglingly perfect. Hope you all agree not long now."

I'm intrigued on how the directory was found in the first place?

The directory has been accessible since the website was created. I've looked at it a couple of times. Essentially if you open an image on 007.com and delete part of the end of the URL, you end up in the folder.

Still...nothing official yet...need to wait...for EON....*sigh* oh, I may as well give it up. It's Adele.

*tut* I wished it wasn't.

I'm glad CBn is holding out on revealing this on the main page until officially released.

I'm still holding out for the official press release because I (for reasons unbeknownst to me) believe it's a very elaborate marketing ploy / misdirection to get people talking about Skyfall. I know I shouldn't believe that at this point but I do.

I have to admit I was tempted. Chivalry won through in the end, though.

Inevitably, it appears that the people behind 007.com have now blocked the open directories. The supposed album art is still there though.

Is it possible that there's a major plot/spoiler in the text of the song and threfore the delay?

I doubt they'd allow spoilerific lyrics to be included to begin with, even assuming anyone would want to write them. This is just how they scheduled the marketing and release of the song.

I also love to keep on insisting that no official confirmation has been given...

But if it were not Adele, wow, the leak of the cover would have been one mean piece of misinformation.

Worthy of Bond himself.

The latest I've heard is that the artist will be announced tomorrow, with the first official play of the song being on Global Bond Day this Friday. We've been misinformed before though, so perhaps not worth placing much value in that!

Also, another update from Roger Friedman was posted yesterday, albeit not with much new information: http://www.showbiz41...aig-for-skyfall

As popular as Adele is right now using her as misinformation would bring bad publicity rather than good. It is Adele.

I really don't think Sony would waste time leaking fake cover art for the sake of misinformation. That's absolutely ridiculous that anybody would believe that, and that Adele and her publicist would even allow for that to happen.

It’s Adele – don’t doubt it for a second.

Disinformation for the sake of some ridiculous surprise does not happen. Why would anyone work hard to make people think that it is going to be one of (if not the) most popular recording artists in the world, only to surprise everyone with some lesser artist? I mean, really?

What a counterproductive waste of time that would be. They've not been spending their time playing silly buggers like that.

Adele is a smokescreen for the biggest secret of all: a "We Are The World"-type charity single featuring Craig, Dench, Bardem, and the rest.
