24: Day 7. The first two hours. Great to have Tony back, though he got caught too easily.

Keep watching. Very strong series.

Continuing THE WIRE most recently for me, excluding the TV I must watch for work.

BURN NOTICE, delayed watch of last episode. A little too light for my taste. And...Michael's face looks, well, somehow different. Did he have a broken nose?

Life Interrupted.

A silly show on the CW, or so I thought. It's actually pretty entertaining so far, and it's certainly tugging at my heartstrings.

The basic gist is that two people who dated a bit in High School find out they have a 16 year old daughter. And so far it's about them trying to own up to being parents. I'm not sure how long I'll stick with it, but for the moment I'm curious to see where it's going.

Watched Chuck for probably the final time. They've managed to take a great and FUN show and turn it into a rather sad attempt at a spy drama. The Chuck character has become intolerable in this season, and the very talented Adam Baldwin and Yvonne Strahovski, who really make the show what it is (or, should I say, was) are reduced in role almost to the point of their involvement being little more than cameo (although they had starring roles this week, but that's been a rarity this season). Anyway, the show is no longer fun, and I wouldn't even classify it as a comedy anymore. And Brandon Routh has to be the poorest casting decision on TV in quite some time.

Baldwin has been reduced to spectator status and Strahovski has been reduced to the series now trademark "eye candy" role, which is an absolute waste of her talent. I honestly feel a bit sorry for both of them, as they could be out making something much better than this horrid third (and hopefully final) season of what was once a truly great comedy.

And, while all of the above does irritate me, what really gets me is that they not only have changed the entire dynamic and focus of the show, but they've done it after the fans went above and beyond to bring them back from the brink of cancellation. And our reward for that is a show that doesn't even resemble the show that we campaigned to save. B)

It's not terrible but I really don't think I'd go out of my way to watch it again.

I enjoy it when I do watch it. But yeah, I don't really go out of my way to watch it. The only Fox 'toon I will go out of my way for is Family Guy, but even that is a mixed bag lately.

If you've just seen the first one, it does improve as the characters get more fleshed out. Cleveland Jr in particular is a hoot. Usually I find it overall a little bit funnier than Family Guy, but for me American Dad is always the winner.

Watched the recorded version of episode two of HUMAN TARGET. And a portion of episode three. I was not disappointed. If anything, this show's getting better with each outing. The scripting, the production values, the action--we're treated to a one-hour movie each week. Finally, Mark Valley's very nicely settling into the role. There's not a trace of the...well, prissiness...he's shown in his previous roles. Bravo.

The show is a bit better than its premiere, but it has a very generic 80's action show feel to it. They really need to give the characters more...character!

I feel like the show could be called "Generic Action Show"

Sad you feel that way and I may still enjoy watching it but I understand your disappointment and it seems the show has also been losing ratings so its looking that this could be it's last season.

Well, I've read that it's still on the good side of the spectrum between cancellation and renewal. I actually don't think that this will be the final season for Chuck, as I think that the combination of just good enough ratings (barely) and the fact that NBC's numbers simply stink in general and it's actually (probably) one of their better performing shows will mean that it gets at least a 13-episode fourth season.

I may have been a bit harsh on the show, and I may end up watching next week, but I'm definitely not enjoying the direction they're taking this show. They've got to get Adam Baldwin and Yvonne Strahovski more involved. They're too talented to waste in the way that they've wasted them so far this season. What was really annoying was the series reboot they did in the first episode of this season which had every single character (save for Casey, who played virtually no role in the episode) acting so completely out of character that I had to check to make sure that I was actually tuned in for Chuck.

There are still some things I'm looking forward to in this season, though, and that would be the return of Scott Bakula (sometime during the back-6 episodes) as well as the appearance of Fred Willard, who was just announced as a guest star sometime later in the season.

It's rare for a show to keep on shocking me week in and out, but this show has done it.

Watched a couple of episodes of Glee today. Given the dramatic drop in quality of Chuck this season, I've got to now give the edge to Glee as the best show on TV. Great cast (Dianna Agron and Lea Michele are going to be around for a long, long time) and, to borrow the most overused expression from American Idol (and one that's never been deservedly uttered on that show), Lea Michele could sing the phonebook and I'd still be entertained. She is, for my money, the best female vocalist currently out there.

I'm going back through my Firefly collection. I watched the first two episodes tonight (the pilot and "The Train Job"). It's been quite a while since I sat down and watched the show and it's nice to be reminded of why I fell in love with it in the first place. A show that was canceled well before it's time.
