Good guess, but not what I was looking for. For me, the Vanquish was still more unique with the "cloaking device".

Major, was this a VERY clever clue for the DISCO VOLANTE (Flying Saucer)?? Obviously it didn't really fly, and like a butterfly it emerged from the cocoon; and foiled as it revealed itself to be a hydrofoil.

It's an iconic American car that has a cultlike following in the States, it's used as a taxi in a Bond film in an East Asian city, and it's used in a crash stunt in the same film in place of a lesser-known American car (I know what that one is also) that is used for the chase scene just before the stunt. Although this one's a stumper, I hope I haven't given too much away.

(Bonus points will be earned if you guess the chase scene car.)

I'm guessing Forward Look's question relates to some car in Golden Gun, but I don't really know, and I'd have to go back and rewatch it to try to figure out the model mentioned. I prefer this game when it makes us guess a particular distinctive vehicle and the role it plays in one of the films, not the actual model involved. To take a really simple example, I'm more interested in a clue like "Bond will get into any car with any girl, and he got into this one in Tokyo." Obviously it's Aki's car in YOLT, but I don't particularly care what model it was.

So here's my new clue:

It's a slow starter, but once you really open it up, it's quite an exciting hangout.

I agree with the Major, the clues should revolve around the vehicle and it's role in Bond, and not just identifying the make/model.
