Watched Goldfinger last night.
So did I, actually!
One of the reasons I popped this one in was to judge it by its runtime. The big concern I have about QOS is its short runtime, so decided to watch Goldfinger with an eye on its length and pacing. And you know what, it works brilliantly. Its short, but doesn't need anything else. I can't imagine what other scenes could be put in or what their point would be. The pacing is perfect all the way through.
Tonight I shall watch OHMSS, and Thursday, CR on Blu-Ray.

I think something really campy would be great and then make a jarring change to a more serious Bond film. Anywho, the film was hilarous as usual. Funniest moment:
*Burt Saxby is just executed after trying to kill Willard White*
Bond: Saxby
Willard White: Bert Saxby ?
Bond: Yes
Willard White: Tell him he's fired !

Nice dinovelvet!! I don't think you'll have to worry about the runtime of Quantum of Solace and pretty much everyone who has seen the film said that the runtime is just fine..
Anyways I watched The Living Daylights last night..

How could you say it's not one of the best but still have it in your top 10?Obviously, Quantum of Solace. It is not one of the best Bonds. It is definitely in the top 10. Before that, I watched Dr. No last week.

Would have liked the gunbarrel at the beginning but nevertheless and less shaky camera and choppy action sequences, but it was a great ride.
Going to see it again tonight!

Quantum of Solace. Good, different Bond movie. I liked it.

I too did not like the gunbarrel at the end. Nor some of the shaky camera work. However, I thought it was fun overall.
