Today I watched maybe the most romantic Bond film , that only Casino Royale competes against ; Bond's Big Christmas Adventure aka It's a Wonderful Bond aka On Her Majestys Secret Service.
It has become a habit to watch certain movies before the Big X-Mas day...

I can't decide what to watch tomorrow on my long road to my Grandmother's house (1 1/2 hour), GoldenEye or Casino Royale.. any suggestions?
Well Casino Royale is clearly the better film, but that's an in your seat, lights turned off, popcorn in hand film. GoldenEye seems quite suitable for a trip. Thos are your only choices?

Yes, those are the only ones I have in the iPod, and I can't watch the others in my Laptop since.. well, there's no room in the car! XDI just watched Moonraker and Octopussy for the first time today thanks to the Spike Bondathon.

Really elegant structure and flow. Love how Kristatos tries to set up Columbo. Lynn Holly Johnson gave some comic spark and kept the film from being too dour. Carole Bouquet is near-perfection.
Interesting how this film manages to be wall-to-wall action, but still has good character moments and humorous bits....
Love it. Now I will watch CASINO ROYALE in a vain attempt to warm to Eva Green.

Absolutely loved it; a bit strange at times but Solitaire is beautiful. The boat chase scene was amusing and the alligator scene was great.

Lynn-Holly is my favorite American Bond Girl, Eva is almost as good as Sophie, and I still get glued to my TV screen as I watch Mollaka and then Bond jump those construction boom cranes at the beginning of CR.

Dr. No
Classic, awesome.. yeah!
BTW, Anyone seen that one in Blu-Ray already?
Yep, it is beautiful in Blu!
I just watched LALD on Blu Friday night with my 12 year old nephew. I noticed small details I have never seen before on that movie (like the 007 pattern on the back of the cards). That is one of the few Bond movies I have never seen on the big screen.

Bleh.
I've watched all of the Brosnan outings over the last couple of weeks as well as Connery's best. OHMSS and the Daltons were squeezed into this post-QoS period of excitement as well and I watched The Spy who Loved Me the other day with some friends, some beers and some laughs at Roger's quips.
...So that pretty much leaves the mediocrity.
I guess I'll watch Moonraker, For Your Eyes Only and A View to a Kill at some point as those are the only other Moore ones I could be bothered with.
I really want to see NSNA, but as it is not an EON film, I don't have it in my collection. Something must be done about that. Yes...

The line about the beatles always cracks me up!
Every time I watch that movie, I feel like eating a really big breakfast. I honestly have no idea why.

That particular music cue is indeed a great one. Fits great with the scene and creates a great amount of suspense. One of Barry's best for sure.Since Christmas will be upon us in a few days, I've stuck On Her Majesty’s Secret Service in the player. A perfect movie for the holidays. I'm currently watching Bond break into Gumbolds office, god, John Barry's soundtrack is absoloutly immense.
Last night I decided to watch The Man With The Golden Gun. I had criticized it in a thread and was in the mood to give it another go. I enjoyed it much more than the last time I watched it. The last time I watched it I found it rather dull. However, last night I just sat back and enjoyed it for what it is. There are some silly moments and the slide whistle ruins one of the greatest Bond stunts, but overall it's a fairly enjoyable film. Moore and Lee are both excellent.
