I checked out For Your Eyes Only on Blu-ray too. It never looked better. Cortina was particularly spectacular.

I've come to find out that it is such a hard decision on which Bond movie to watch if you have the complete 21 movie set. It's almost like a feeling, like which one do i feel like watching today or which one have i seen in the last month. I watched Moonraker yesterday

The last movie I watched was probably Quantum of Solace. I watched the Title Seqences and clips from the movie.

Introduced my fiancee to the delights of Thunderball on Sunday morning. She enjoyed the film but asked at the end "Where's the other man who jumped off the boat?". I felt almost ashamed not being able to answer.

It sounds like one of the things my best friend would ask. :(

Caught the tail end of Octopussy on some new channel called ion the other night. Anyone think the Octopussy girl fight at the end is supposed to invoke memories of the gypsy girl fight in FRWL?

Then watched the UE GoldenEye, which is still overrated in my mind, and followed that up with The World Is Not Enough, which isn't as bad as CBn leads me to believe. Did a double take when Bond dumped Davidovitch's body in a dumpster! :) Surprised no one mentioned that on the QoS dumpster thread. :(

The Ultimate Edition? Or the movie itself? The UE is far from overrated - the transfer is terrible.

I haven't watched a non-Craig Bond film for some time, and I had sort of decided that my next Bond film would be one of the early Connery ones. Somehow I ended up watching Die Another Day! Much to my surprise, I loved every minute of it - well almost every minute. There are still some bits which I find terrible, but I did enjoy it far more than the previous time that I watched DAD.

Oh dear - I think I see a firing squad coming. . . :(

I ordered Quantum of Solace while staying at the Marriott this weekend. Fifth time overall, but first on small screen. Michael G. Wilson's cameo is cropped by the Pan and Scan. Also noticed that after Mathis dies in Bond's arms, you could cut straight to Tanner telling M the Bolivian police report about framing Bond for Mathis' murder and the scenes flow just fine. No dumpster required!
