What did you think of Never say Never Again? Has it improved since your last viewing?
I've always liked NSNA, but really must be in the mood for it. I can't just pop it in anytime as with so many of the other Bonds.
I love Barbara Carrera, who is still one of my faves, and I do think Klaus is pretty slimy as Largo. His version of Largo is so different for me to really compare to Celi's. It would be like comparing John Carradine's Dracula to Jack Palance. I still enjoy laughing at the unintentionally hilarious shot of Leiter jogging as Sean rides that bike. I love Valerie Leon, "Put them on Ice", Sean's black laser watch (no really), the Pat Roach fight, and the wargames scene.
Still, it could have had a more appropriate score, and been edited a bit tighter. Also, Sean's clothes remind me of something my grandpa might wear- especially the yellow/gray striped polo shirt with the green sweater.

As the Moooooonraker goes, on Blu it looks like gold!
Ditto. Just finished it last night.
Also been showing Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace during free time in my classes. QoS I've seen in English, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese 5.1 surround sound!

Licence to Kill was on today. One of the weaker Bond films, IMO. As an example:
"Don't you know? Iguanas are a girls best friend?"
"Why don't you wait until you're asked?" "Then why don't you ask me?"
BTW, I didn't see the "flaming hand" during the truck scenes. Does anyone else know where it is? Or IF it is???
There's a shot of it in the "Inside Licence to Kill" featurette.

The so called "flaming hand" is in a still shot taken on set during filming. It is not actually in the film. As mentioned above it can be seen in the "Inside Licence to Kill" featurette.BTW, I didn't see the "flaming hand" during the truck scenes. Does anyone else know where it is? Or IF it is???

Dalton is superb and Sanchez is probably the third best villain.
Great movie indeed
