I do feel once I see quantum of solace i'l know what fleming title they would use assuming they use a fleming title.
I'd like Risico.

As for revenge, assuming QoS deals with it effectively, then I think they shouldn't retread that one for a long while. I'm also a little weary of Bond-as-outcast--we've seen it in LTK, DAD, and to a degree CR. Add that to QoS, and it's more than enough already. I want Bond enfranchised, accepted, part of the service again. It's okay if his methods bug the hell out of M from time to time, but enough with the trust issues and him having to prove himself. Time to move on.
MGW/BB have said that they now want Bond to have a personal story in each film, rather than just carrying out an assignment. I personally think that gets old too--I agree with those who yearn for an occasional plain old go-do-this-mission story--but I'm okay with the personal angle as long as it's something different from the personal stories we've seen so far. Bond-as-outcast has been an interesting way to break formula, but it's starting to become a formula itself, IMO.

Rambling. Badly.
But seriously, no revenge. There's no reason for it, there's no excuse for it.

though I do hope wether the bon producers choose Risico, Property of a lady or The Hildebrand rarity bond 23 has a fleming title.
and if the story and action are amazing i may go for 007 in new york. but that would have to be one hell of a film for me to get on board with the title.

Property of a Lady would work better, and if you use 'live', and/or 'die' then use
"Live Property of a Dead Lady"

It's not going to be revenge. I cannot fathom that they would use that angle AGAIN. There's no need. However, I do want to see Bond continue to work his way up Quantum's chain, as he did with SMERSH in the novels (which didn't turn into revenge stories). Along those lines, I wonder what it would be like if Quantum operated like actual terrorist organizations and had positions that are repeatedly filled when one of their men is killed. What would Bond do with that?
Rambling. Badly.

Agreed. The revenge angle should be retired for a while after QUANTUM OF SOLACE. It's been a major focal part of the last few Bond films, and it would be fantastic to get a Bond film that just featured Bond out on some mission without having it turn into some form of personal vendetta.

Only weird angle: we would have to start writing about R, which looks even weirder than AVTAK or DAD.

But the idea that the title would have anything intrinsically to do with revenge is silly.

Risico I loveI'm all for using the unused Bond titles. There isn't a better time than to use them up then after the reboot. Risico is a better title than Moonraker. If that one was still out there NOBODY would be on board for it. Property of a Lady is a no brainer. The Hildebrand Rarity is a bit clumsy but no more than QoS. I would love 007 in New York just for the subject matter alone. And you couldn't let that be the lone missing title. Could you?
The Property of a lady I love
The Hildebrand Rarity is actualy my favourite and would love it to be the title of bond 23
007 in new york would be interesting extremly interesting.

Yes, you've said as much, and on multiple occasions in this very thread. Which makes yours a completely pointless bump.i'd love for Risico to be the title of bond 23.

I just can't imagine the conversation during promotional interviews:
JOURNO "So, we didn't understand Quantum of Solace despite being journalists and all three words being in English - what does Risico mean?"
DC: "Um..it means 'risk'. But foreigners talk funny, don't they? They pronounce some words wrong when it's in a language they're not fluent in. So it's a title that kinda references that."
JOURNO: "You're not serious?"
DC: "No, no, it's fine - Fleming came up with it. It's endearing and full of international flavour."
JOURNO: "It's xenophobic."
DC: "Oh, I wouldn't say that..."
Yeah. That's an easy one to sell globally. No problem.
