Property of a Lady sounds so bad IMO.

"Hey, I'm gonna go see Property of a Lady!"

QoS wasn't a good Bond title, but atleast it didn't sound like a chick flick.

How would it work as a movie title? Wouldn't they have to introduce Blofeld?

I don't think so. You could just create a brand new character named Shatterhand, or perhaps name a device after it (ala the Moonraker shuttle, the GoldenEye satellite), or even have it be the title of some project or operation (ala Operation: Thunderball). EON can create their own significance for the name.

If it ended up being a new villain´s name, it would be the first time since Connery´s third: Goldfinger. Now it´s Craig´s third film so it would fit rather well, even in the publicity department :(

Risico could be used in the same way as Shatterhand.

I'd frankly be happy witih either risico Shatterhand or the hildebrand rarity.

"Risico" was always only ever an adequate title for a brilliant short story. It does not belong on a film poster.

Yes, it does.

I'm brining this thread back as actually i think bond 23 is Risico.

My Reasoning Bond has learned all the risks of being a spy (falling in love letting his emtions get in the way etc) He has also put himself up to a great deal of risks by exposing Quantum for the multi national orgnization they are nothing is safe thereforth with all these risks it makes sense that James bond return in

I will also place my nuts under the hammer if Bond 23 isn't called Risico.

The name itself is sweet nothing. But it does sound Bondian enough to be next title in line.

RISICO

Wel, considering that EON didn't choose the title for QUANTUM OF SOLACE util two days before they announced it, I don't think you've got much to go on.

Considering me and several others argued for Quantum of solace since 2007 for much of the same reason they wound up using the title. So no Captain untill my logic fails I'd argue that is a lot to go on. of course i can't help but think if i argued for TPOAL you wouldn't be all over it.

Well, it's almost always an out-of-left-field choice, so I'm going to go out on a limb here and say...

YOU ASKED FOR IT

Personnaly since the Sun tossed out there in 2007 nearly everyone and their brother and sister wants Risico to be a film title. Except for Captain Tightpants of course lol. It's a popular title it's a fleming title and it's malleable so it makes the most sense.

I find RISICO a very lame title, but this could be because 'Risiko' with a K means in German simply risk. Imagine RISK as a Bond title, thats approximately comparable. The C instead of a K doesn´t make it any more Bondian. So in many European and other countries this title would cause shaking heads.

Actually that is exactly why i feel bond 23 is the only oppertunity for Risico because of all the extra risks involved.

Exactly. If it were such a good title as some would have you believe, Fleming'd have named the book after it. He didn't. Those who point out that after QOS being used, Risico's got a chance are missing the point that Quantum of Solace is indeed a good title.
Then there are those thick enough to believe 007 in New York would work as a title...

maybe maybe not to me 3 of the 4 left are still viable titles and if i live to see a bond film titles 007 in new york so be it. using certain chapter titles or Risico The properrty of a lady or The hildebrand rarity to me is just doing what the producers writers and casts job is take fleming's work and apply it to today as they see fit.
