'It has been eight years since Batman vanished into the night, turning, in that instant, from hero to fugitive.
Assuming the blame for the death of D.A. Harvey Dent, the Dark Knight sacrificed everything for what he and Commissioner Gordon both hoped was the greater good.
For a time the lie worked, as criminal activity in Gotham City was crushed under the weight of the anti-crime Dent Act. But everything will change with the arrival of a cunning cat burglar with a mysterious agenda.
Far more dangerous, however, is the emergence of Bane, a masked terrorist whose ruthless plans for Gotham drive Bruce out of his self-imposed exile. But even if he dons the cape and cowl again, Batman may be no match for Bane.'
The running time is 164 minutes and 27 seconds.
(2 hours and 44 minutes of epic Batman action!)

"Dark Knight Rises is not only easily the best Batman movie yet, but now one of my favorite movies I've ever seen. It was unbelievable!"
"All I can say is....be ready to be hit REAL hard in The Dark Knight Rises. Very emotional and powerful. Blows The Dark Knight out of the water."
"The Dark Knight Rises delivers a series a jolting twists and various turns with an added exclamation point climax. Nolan delivers one of his best films (if not THE best) and takes the Batman films to a place they've never been before."
"I never thought I'd ever say that TWO Batman films have deserved Best Picture nominations."

Few new set pics for us to tease us a bit more also...

Looking at John Blakes jaw-line in that shot with Cmsr. Gordon, I can see the makings of a new throne to the Batman cowl..!

"The Dark Knight Rises has just finished screening for the press and critics, receiving a STANDING OVATION!!!" wrote "YouTube reviewer" Lauren Hiestand (@nickcarterroxs) on Twitter.
Tom McAuliffe (@tommcauliffe) added: "So much awesome … can't wait to see it again. And again. And 9 out of 10 for me. I'd put Amazing Spider-Man at a 7.5 and Avengers at an 8.5."
Cinemagoer Vince Peluso wrote: "Wow quite speechless at the moment … It was everything I wanted it to be. Some fans will find certain aspects controversial, but in my eyes everything in the film fit the overall scheme of this instalment and the series in general, and Nolan really couldn't have made it any more epic."
Another, unnamed, fan wrote on Facebook: "I myself cried twice, once out of sadness and once out of pure, geeky uncontrollable happiness."
'Superhero Hype' blogger "Scoop" wrote: "I think Bale gives his best performance as Batman and as Bruce Wayne in this one. He was terrific. And I especially loved his bat voice this time around."
I can't wait for the embargo to be lifted soon for the reviews to come in before it opens to really get us whipped up! I really can't call this event as to what will happen!
10 days until the Dark Knight rises....!

Batman Begins and The Dark Knight are the two massively successful rebooted Batman movies that precede The Dark Knight Rises. In Batman Begins the legend is born when Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) vows to get revenge for the killing of his parents by cleansing Gotham City of crime. In The Dark Knight the battle escalates when Batman inadvertently unleashes The Joker while working against the grip the Mob has on the city. Batman Begins and The Dark Knight Rises are two of the best-received blockbusters of recent times, due as much to first-rate acting as state-of-the-art effects.

Got my ticket - bargain! Better than doing them on small screen DVD anyway!

Is he? That's great news! I hadn't heard that...Hans Zimmer really could bring some interesting ideas to Superman's world...imagine what he could do for James Bond!
