- The rumorted title is SHADOW OF THE BAT.
SHADOW OF THE BAT is a good title, although I think that there are better titles out there.

What it lack is the punch of titles like BATMAN BEGINS and THE DARK KNIGHT. Those titles, whether you like 'em or not, have a memorable, striking quality about 'em. SHADOW OF THE BAT feels mighty bland in comparison. We need another memorable Batman-centric title for the third. And that's not easy to come up with.

Reminds me of DAWN OF THE DEAD. I dunno, I'm not crazy about it. I'd put it on the same level as SHADOW OF THE BAT.How about DAWN OF THE BAT?
Yeah, I get the reference, but dawn is a hard word to work into a title and still make it sound punchy. Especially when you're dealing with Batman titles.Spoiler

Who else thinks that David Tennant would make a brilliant Riddler?

I hadn't even considered Casey Affleck. That's a wonderful choice. Loved him in THE ASSASSINATION OF JESSE JAMES BY THE COWARD ROBERT FORD. Now that he's in my mind, I'll be disappointed if they don't cast the chap. He's just that perfect for it.

And depending on how well she does in QUANTUM, I wonder if Olga Kurylenko could fit the role of Selina Kyle/Catwoman. There was a playfulness to her character in HITMAN (mediocre film, otherwise) that I could see playing out in the character very well.

Personally, I'd like to see Rachel Weisz as Selina Kyle/Catwoman.

I've never seen the Adam West show but I know enough to laugh at that statement.Let's hope King Tut, Bookworm, and Egg Head fill in the villainous slots for the next Batman film. Really, what other good choices are there?

Interesting article, but there's plenty of stuff I take issue with. Here's a link to an interesting article on IGN regarding potential future villains and how they think they could fit into the current structure of the franchise:
From Comics To Film: Batman's Villains
