No skinny-dipping with Vesper? That would have been my favorite deleted scene...
Wouldn't that be "rescue and recovery" though? The other three all obviously correspond with bits from the script, but the title of that one is a bit obscure. The skinny dipping scene is after Bond's "recovery" period. What else could it be referring to?

Here are the final specs for the Blu-ray. Does anybody who read the script have any insight into what the listed deleted scenes might be???
Well as I said above, I'm speculating that Rescue and recovery is Bond and Vesper skinny dipping, which we know was filmed (a brief shot of it appeared in the teaser trailer). Its before the beach scene, and it also explains why he's talking about sailing round the world together! The other three scenes are :
Cricket Pavilion - is from the PTS where we see what led up to Bond beating up Fisher in the bathroom. This should be a few minutes long at least, though it is supposed to be intercut with Bond and Dryden in the office. Maybe they've cut together an entire extended PTS?
Squandering government funds - this is some extra dialogue between Bond and Vesper when they arrive in Montenegro. Its barely a scene, just a bit of dialogue that was cut out really.
Gettler raises Bond's suspicions - Vesper notices Gettler at the hotel in Venice, and Bond notices her noticing him, so he asks at the reception who Gettler is. (You can actually see Gettler in the background when Bond and Vesper are in the lobby).

Yup. And I imagine the "rescue" bit is the filmed footage of Bond being wheeled into the hospital, which was nowhere to be found in the finished film.Well as I said above, I'm speculating that Rescue and recovery is Bond and Vesper skinny dipping, which we know was filmed (a brief shot of it appeared in the teaser trailer). I'd rather see Babs in hi-def! I'm intrigued by how this is going to work though, are they actually going to point to things on the screen?

Does this mean the DVD release won't have an audio commentary with Campbell and Wilson?

A bit stingy on the deleted scenes.
But do we know how many more scenes were filmed and are being held back now?
My knowledge would include:
The scene removing John Bliss from the train
Dialogue between Bond and Vesper in the DBS.
Extended chat between Bond and Mathis in the cafe, including the "holding onto your gun arm" dialogue.
I am happy to be contradicted on the existence of these, but can anyone add any other which do not seem to be on the new DVD?

No scenes explaining the "tearing the cards in half"?
Suddenly I'm not so sure I want to buy this. Are they keeping those things for something else later?

No trailers?

What do you mean about tearing the cards in half? It sounds familiar but I can't remember this from the film.

There wasn't a whole lot of material devoted to that. Just a few extra seconds in a few scenes. There certainly wasn't much explanation involved. I'm not surprised they didn't really put that deleted material in there.No scenes explaining the "tearing the cards in half"?

No trailers?
I'm hoping they include those and some TV spots for the film, but this listing doesn't seem to indicate they will...

And my understanding was that by the time they were shooting the airport scene, the card-tearing was dropped from the script. So there probably wasn't that much shot.
And the studio might be a tad bit reluctant to tout trailers as a special feature when they are all up on YouTube.
Hmmm. Seven hours of special features, but maybe no trailers or tv spots that are on YouTube right now and maybe no 30 seconds of cards being torn in half and put back together. Yeah, they must be holding stuff back.
Keep dancing,
Bonita

Maybe it has been already answered but will the CR CE DVD be released only in UK and USA?

* “Rescue & Recovery” - Is this set after the torture sequence, or at Miami?
* “Squandering Government Funds” - Probably an Extended Mathis scene
* “Cricket Pavilion” - Extended PTS
* “Gettler Raises Bond’s Suspicions” - Scene in Venice
I would have loved more though
* Bond and Vesper Naked Swim
* Torn Card Storyline
* Extended Poisoning Sequence
* Extended Train Sequence

I am disapponted by no trailers or TV spots as I am a trailer junkie. I'm wondering if they will be giving away any extra perks with the sets the way they did the first time.

When I read the part about the audio commentary I understand it to be that the Blu-ray part will include the ability to see Campbell and Wilson talk about various scenes in a small box while those same scenes are played in a larger box (i.e. picture-in-picture). I don't see why the audio commentary wouldn't be included in the non-Blu-ray version.EXCLUSIVE BLU-RAY SPECIAL FEATURES INCLUDE:

Me too. It will be great to compare it to the finished version.This I'm very interested to see.* “Cricket Pavilion” - Extended PTS
I'll be greatly disappointed if no trailers (teasers and full) are not included. I love seeing them on the DVDs. They're great intros to see before sitting down to watch the movie, and it's great to compare them to past films' trailers. Why they wouldn't be included I have no idea. It's ridiculous to not include them. After all, they are a part of the film's history (and very enjoyable).Exlusive Blu-ray content. And I just bought my first player and new 1080p HDTV. What great news.

It's probably not set at Miami. There's no recovery there. I'm 99% sure it's the bulk of material that was excised from the scenes after the torture sequence - stuff like Bond being wheeled into the hospital, and the swim.* “Rescue & Recovery” - Is this set after the torture sequence, or at Miami?
No. It's Bond and Vesper chatting as they disembark the train. More banter.* * “Squandering Government Funds” - Probably an Extended Mathis scene
Yup to both.* * “Cricket Pavilion” - Extended PTS
* “Gettler Raises Bond’s Suspicions” - Scene in Venice
