I think hardly anyone has seen it. Theres a lot of irrational hatred for Shyamalan on the internet which I can't explain (actually I do have a theory but I dont want to say it out loud!). Quite why these people reserve their hatred for a talented filmmaker and not, say, the makers of Date Movie, is anyone's guess. The Happening stunk.
Really?I was thinking of seeing it when it's released.
Actually, I've heard it really stinks from the advanced previews. I'm not the guy above by the way...
Here you go then, just for review. http://www.collider....i...7903&tcid=1
Okay, just have to say it: this review is the first and only one available yet. No one knows if the writer really has seen the film.
However, everyone takes it for granted. Even the established media quote it. And why? Because it has become fashionable to beat up on Shyamalan.
Also, it has become fashionable to write the first review of a yet unreleased film and boast about how bad it is. Same thing happened with the latest Indiana Jones.
If someone writes the first review of the QOS, will you believe it, too?
Remember the things that were said about Craig...
So, please stop this nonsense and don

Sense relies on a twist which although I didn't see coming unlike my Wife and many others, it doesn't really work much after that, it's well acted by both leads but Unbrreakable seems to grow in stature on each viewing at least for me it does.
Initially this was panned by quite few but I think it will age better and it's audience will grow unlike Sense which will be a blockbuster that relies on you not knowing it's twist and that's it, somewhat of a cheap parlour trick compared to Unbreakable.
Unbreakable does have a twist but the whole film doesn't hang on it, it's much more subtle although some might have seen it coming it still doesn't ruin the film. The performances are top nothch from both Willis & Jackson.
I would go as far to say it's one of my favourite Super Hero films of all time if not an obvious one. Mythology is subtle but it is there in some brilliant single sequences framed by the Director, the use of the raincoat is particularly effective. It just works on many levels and it's a shame Night never got a chance to continue this universe as there was plenty more explore, it was an intended trilogy but lack of boxoffice caused it to be shelved, if he returned to this again I'd be most intrigued to see the outcome.
As for Signs & The Village, some great moments but conclusions which don't do the build up any justice at all. I read a spoiler review of the Happening some weeks back and the clincher for the whole story just sounded lame, the teaser was quite effective but once the cats out of the bag it seems somewhat underwhelming, probably will catch this on the box like The Village.
Unbreakable for me is one hell of a movie, I predict this will have people who dismissed first time round giving this another go to see something that lies deeper that wasn't seen the first time round. Thiis is a future classic, say like the Thing, waiting for a generation like mine did the Thing to discover it's power
Give it another go, you might not see it but I know my 2nd and subsequent 3rd viewing I've grown to admire and enjoy this film more each time.

Shame that it's gotten universally mediocre advance reviews (not a positive reaction in the bunch). This Hancock film sounds interesting.
Well that isn't surprising because it looked pretty dumb. I am guessing it's because it's comedy that then turns inself into a serious movie which just threw people off. Also LOL at the people who are still thinking the trailer has any date right now.

How is it possible this thread is 13 page long?
Unbelievable, I know. When the trailer is released, and a thread is open discussing it, I bet that thread won't even be this long.

This link leads you to 007.com, but that is a clear sign that the trailer is really near, as other films such as Zohan or The Spirit don't have that link.
This means that they're going to open their micro-site with the dubbed teaser trailer somewhere in the future. Hancock opens in Spain 18th July, so I hope we can see the spanish dubbed version of the trailer on the first week of July.

this is excitingQuantum of Solace now features on the main page of Sony Pictures Releasing Spain (btw, confirmed title here is 007 Quantum of Solace) and has a link below that read 'Teaser'.

How does this really mean anything?
You're basing this off of a non-functioning link on a website.
There already is a Zohan trailer released, and you say that page doesn't have the same link, so how in world is this "a clear sign that the trailer is near?"

It's only a clear sign that the webmaster is inconsistent.

If they've put the 'teaser' link is because the teaser release is inminent whether they upload it tomorrow or 18th July together with Hancock appearance in Spain.
007 Quantum of Solace is the hit of the year for Sony Pictures Releasing Spain, and even premiering later that Zohan, I think it's normal that it gets more attention.

Huh? It's hard to decipher what you're asking with grammar and punctuation like that.Well so far everything i have read seen heard i've enjoyed. Though i'd be lieing if doubt and fear weren't tugging at the back of my mind but i have put my trust in the bond producers they would use a fleming title if they weren't going to deliver a Fleming styled film Right?
