Though the main reason I consider most people here to be somewhat lacking is because I've been felt to made rather unwelcome from the moment I stepped in here - a few users (honeyjes being the main example) stalking me all over the forums looking for things to pounce on - simply because I disagree with them. The Amy Winehouse threads being the prime example. Sure, I can be opinionated, I'll be the first to admit it ... but that doesn't justify people doing the selfsame things they claim to be calling me down on. So you'll forgive me if I'm somewhat apathetic towards the standing majority of you; for a forum that claims to be the best on its subject on the itnernet, some of you do a hell of good job of making hypocrites and liars of the lot of you. The sheer fact that someone went looking for stuff that I've said elsewhere is proof enough. As some of you constantly remind me, everyone is entitled to their own opinion and that we all represent the forum ... now I'm wholly aware of what I am, but what does all that say about you?

The teaser trailer is not yet out, and when it is out no doubt people will say it is rubbish anyway for a variety of anonymous reasons.

Be careful of what, Jim? A modsmack? Doesn't much scare me. While some people would no doubt be in a celebratory mood - and they know perfectly well who they are - it won't do much good if that's what I'm aiming for. All those people that would rather see the back of me and have worked so hard at justifying themselves by saying "well you do it, so it's okay for me to do it to you" and then take the moral high road as if they can somehow make a person better by posting on the internet will have woked for nothing. And if I don't get banned, they still get nothing because I'll still be here. I'm not convinced that anyone is as interested in you as you assert, but if they are, then claim that gilded victory and move on to something less boring than drawing attention to yourself. Please.

You would prefer that I denied it outright and invented some lame excuse as to what I wrote? Of course, if I'm a hypocrite and a liar, that destorys the credibility of everything I said. Not just here, but elsewhere.

And honeyjes, this is precisely what I'm talking about. I aware I'm flawed, and that one of the few good things I have about me is a sense of self-awareness. And then it's people such as your ownself who come along with the intentions of putting a whole negative light on it to justify your own actions. I'm no saint and I have no claims to being right - and nor did I ever make them - but in this case, I'm less-wrong.

What amuses me is the notion that if EoN don't give us the trailer 'RIGHT NOW', then the film will lose audiences. I think its fairly safe to say that even if they released no trailer at all, we'd all go and see the film, most probably more than once.

No trailer for Quantum of Solace yet, but we now know what trailer will be shown with it when it is released. Rain Fall, from a novel by Barry Eisler. The John Rain books are great read.

A bit of trivia: Eisler wrote the intro to For Your Eyes Only.
