Well so far everything i have read seen heard i've enjoyed. Though i'd be lieing if doubt and fear weren't tugging at the back of my mind but i have put my trust in the bond producers they would use a fleming title if they weren't going to deliver a Fleming styled film Right?

Huh? It's hard to decipher what you're asking with grammar and punctuation like that.

thanks for pointing out I have poor gramer and don't reread my posts from time to time.

I'm not asking anything mearly saying I have a Quantum of fear regarding how good qunatum of solace will be.

But I feel that they wouldn't have gone with a fleming title if they weren't going to go with a fleming style.

I've no doubt that QOS will be a fine film, all the early indicators and the level of talent involved would certainly suggest so. But:-

I'm sorry I should of said the Modern producers.

Honestly there is not bond film I activly hate or dislike (some i don't watch to often like a View to a Kill)

I just feel the producers are trying to return to fleming again they did it well with Casino Royale let's see how they do with Quantum of Solace.



or it could be my intial post was horrible mess. But alas these things happen. (worked hard yesterday morning and i'm gonna work harder this afternoon not looking foward to it.)

I do feel that the choice in title was partly due to an attempt to do a fleming styled film.

If this fellow is to be believed, black and white is used in the trailer - the other comments he makes paint a style very much a continuation of what we saw in Casino Royale. We'll know soon enough if he was telling the truth.

I was fortunate enough to see the teaser trailer a few days ago. It was presented by producer Michael Wilson.

I have managed to see quite a few trailers and teasers over the years and not often am I blown away by trailers, but this was such an occasion.

I can't reveal too much, but the trailer is as good as the first Casino Royale trailer, meaning loads of action (Mr. Wilson promised MORE action than in CR), a few worried words from Judi Dench, a handful of hardcore, cool shots of Daniel Craig and a few of Mathieu Almaric as well.

Judging from the material so far this will be another great installment in the Bond series...

Well, as my memory is quite lousy when it comes to remembering stuff like that I cannot say for sure, but I'd say that Dench is quite similar to the first trailer for Casino, meaning she is doubting Bond, asking him if he could be trusted at all, saying he is out of line and that sort of thing.

She also says something about revenge and you get the feeling that Bond is severely pissed and set to kill whomever is in his way.

The teaser poster, where you see his shadow, is sort of IN the trailer. Bond, dressed up, but dirty, is walking in something I'd call a stony desert, with an automatic rifle in his hand...it sort of ends with that scene if I remember correctly.

The action is very reminiscent of action scenes in the Casino trailer, promising cool stunt scenes, quite violent fighting (there is some black and white in this trailer as in the first Casino...) and a few car chases that looks good to say the least.

Daniel Craig is also walking around for a few seconds barechested with any particular reason, but I guess that sort of things pleases the ladies...

Feel free to doubt the authenticity of this review...however, it is real.

Well this guy claims he saw the teaser and I don't think he's telling the truth. The details given here can fit Casino Royale easily. I am more then patient for this teaser since I am not believing any claims about it coming around in a few weeks or days.

Sounds like rubbish. The guy can't describe one single scene or come up with one line of dialogue from this trailer he supposedly saw? That, and he's posting on the imdb. Here, let me try my hand at Pretending I Saw The Trailer :

You make it sound so EXCITING, MARVELLOUS, CRACKING, MAGNIFICENT and STUPENDOUS. Did you forget to say that Mikey and Babs personally presented the trailer. Took you to a darkened room, and put a blindfold on and got you to swear to the OQOSSA(Official QOS Secrets Act)
Its just over 3 weeks away from being belt and braces official. It will go quicker than we think, and it may be quicker than July 2.

Well the Cr trailer leaked to us 19 days before the May 19th release of the Da Vinci Code. Sony released their version 2 days later, if we follow the same timetable, we should get somethign this week.

But, someone says that over at some German fourm, Daniel Craig's dubber has not redone his lines yet. Can I see a link?

Just to take people's mind off things a little and add some much needed levity to the proceedings........ any idea who the subject of tomorrow's blog will be? Surely we must be due a major player at this stage? (It could of course be the Aston Martin delivery driver or a catering person!). Or, as we were all speculating this time last week.... it could be.........another week without the trailer!

(Am now suffering from withdrawal symptoms so am about to watch Casino Royale again!)
