Kananga? In his first main scene he's being bugged by the CIA; toward the end of the film he hangs Bond and Solitaire over the shark pool.

Good guess, but not what I have in mind.

How about May Day on the Eiffel tower? First she's wielding the insect that kills Poirot, er, Aubergine, then she hangs from a parachute.

Very true, very close, but. . . . .not exactly what I had in mind.

Aha! I had to do a little digging to confirm this one, but thanks to your generous hint, I got it. I had totally forgotten that Campbell in OHMSS was driving a Beetle before he ended up hanging around Piz Gloria. Bugged indeed! Ingenious, trs, as always!

Many thanks, Major. Yes, it seemed time for a hint. Over to you......

That's it exactly, trs. I panicked under pressure from agentjames and threw in an obvious one. Guess I'd better rethink that application to the double-0 section if I'm going to crumple that easily! B)

Your turn....

Nonsense, your past reputation speaks for itself. I am still racking my brains to interpret slow and foxy for the other game. B)

OK, back on track:

The taxi driver in LALD? In Harlem, he took Bond where he wanted to go (Fillet of Soul), but in New Orleans he didn't (Kanana's plane instead of the departure terminal).

Despite my brief screen time, I was thoroughly panned.

Mr. B, 10 hours is pretty respectable when you're up against a high-performance solver like trs. (Although knowing him, it probably means he didn't look at it till 10 hours after you posted it and spent maybe half a dozen seconds coming up with the answer...!)

Major, sir, you flatter and praise me, and yet, your read is accurate. I am usually on the boards moreso during the day than the evenings.

Now, I am throwing out an easy one and hoping for a same day solve. Also, please note I will not be around as much for the next 10 days or so, so best to solve my outstanding puzzles (vehicle) or there will be lags in my reply times.

OK, NEW PUZZLE: Whistling while you work can be hazardous.
