Don't worry, there's nothing wrong with you!
Personally, I'm addicted to Licence to Kill. I watch it multiple times a week...I just love that final scene!
Multiple times per week?????!!!!!!

I understand. You don't want to become too bored or used to such masterpieces. The longer you leave watching it, a greater sense of anticipation grows and you enjoy it more.
I agree with this. Doesn't stop me watching FYEO once a year, but I think that once a year is fine.

I haven't watched OHMSS in two years. I watch this Bond movie less than I do the others. But it is one of my all time favorites. But every time I watch it . . . I just adore it.

One thing that doesnt change for me is that the best bond films are the ones which have remained faithfull to flemings novels or at least the original lit bond, FRWL, DR No, GF CR etc.
Great to be back by the way. Pc explosion and then lack of replacement funds have kept me away.

As this is one of the best films, I had to import the region 1 UE to hear the original sound mix , because I can't bear the butchering of John Barry's score on the new 5.1 mix during the safecracking scene.

I agree that Christmas is the best time to watch it, as it really is the Christmas Bond film (although Christmas is also mentioned in DAF (by Q), Moonraker (by Bond) and TWINE (by Bond, plus it's also the name of one of the Bond girls)....

OHMSS is a superb film and even though Ive said it before lazenby would have been a legend if he had done a six or seven film stint and really got into the role. Just imagine how different things would have looked with him in such films as lald and swlm.

You're absolutely right, my friend. But instead of a legend, he has become a myth. And, in its own way, it's still better, for a myth is as good as mile. Laz remains forever young, forever wild and free. I love him all the more for that bad. The king who was too proud to rule.

You learn something every viewing, I never knew the dialogue that Blofeld's henchmen says to Blofeld over the phone as Bond escapes. Now I do "Der Englander ist verschwunden" or sommit like that.
I also relish the top Bunt dialogue. "We must stop them" and "Push them out of the way" said with such menace during the stock car race.
Normally play the escape from Piz Gloria twice and the escape from the Stables/Barn twice just for the cinematography.

No, it should also be watched on President's Day, Easter, July 4th, Guy Fawkes Day, Labor Day, All Saint's Day and Thanksgiving. Plus: every Saturday evening. This is the way to a happy and well-balanced life.

OHMSS is like diabetes! You need to take your pill everyday or you can't control it!

I agree with you 100%OHMSS is very strange, it's one of the longest and yet the most MEATIEST. There is not one scene in there that does not drive the plot in some way, these things add up to a mix that provides one of the most rewatchable movies ever. I'm getting another hankering for this delicious savory piece of celluloid.
A couple of scenes I enjoy. The visit to Gumbolds office where it is not action packed, but the scene is so sharply edited and done with pace and style that it is a great scene for me. Love the moment bond puts the safecracker onto the winch just before leaving the office. Another is the scene with Irma Bunt in the helicopter, for the scenery and cinematogrophy.

Absolutely. I just love that scene. Outstanding cinematography, and it features the beautiful 'Journey to Blofeld's Hideaway' cue. I like the way Lazenby looks with the round glasses too. I always find his cover's dialogue amusing as well, so unlike who he really is.Another is the scene with Irma Bunt in the helicopter, for the scenery and cinematogrophy.
