Don't worry, there's nothing wrong with you! :D

Personally, I'm addicted to Licence to Kill. I watch it multiple times a week...I just love that final scene!

OHMSS is in my top three, too. Cubby Broccoli once said that out of all the Bonds he'd worked with, George Lazenby had the most sex appeal. When he would walk into the production office each morning, the secretaries would fall out of their chairs.

Watching Lazenby in certain scenes, I could see what Cubby meant!

I went thru a phase earlier this year where I would watch it repeatedly. I tried to put on FYEO to compare it once, got reminded of OHMSS and put in OHMSS instead. I think CR has increased my appreciation of OHMSS. In fact, OHMSS and the two Dalton films have been the Bond films that probably benefited the most from the success of CR.

I went through a bout of OHMSS addiction a month ago. It has eased off of late, but I expect symptoms to arise at any time.

To be honest, the last time I had went through an OHMSS addiction was back in the late 80s. However, the last time I had seen the movie - back in November 2006 - I enjoyed it so much that my skin was tingling all over at the end.

Nothing wrong with you. I went through a Dr. No addiction right after I got the Ultimate Edition DVD's. The picture quality just blew me away & I couldn't stop looking at it.

Don't take such a phrase so lightly; a bald man in a neck brace and an ugly old maid could have driven up to their car with machine guns at the sound of such! :D

It is an incredibly beautiful film. Certainly ranks in my top 5 Bond movies; nothing is wrong with watching it over and over.

I'm currently in a self-imposed OHMSS moratorium and haven't watched this, my favourite OO7 film, since the intitial release of the UE DVD (and even then I only watched the UE version once to review the quality of the image and sound).

My next viewing will be when OHMSS is released on Blu-ray (or if a local cinema ever screens it first).

I don't want to risk my enjoyment of OHMSS being compromised in the same way that my enjoyment of some of my once-favourite films has been irrepairably ruined by one (or a dozen) viewing too many. For example, I can no longer bear to watch a single frame of You Only Live Twice because I thrashed my off-air copy in the early days of having a VCR (while YOLT was by no means my favourite OO7 film at the time, it was the only Bond film I had in my possession for many months).

So for me, OHMSS, like Blade Runner, Apocalypse Now, The Godfather (pts I & II) and a host of others, will be viewed perhaps once every five to seven or so years in approximate line with the phases of changing maturity, wherein I'll not only renew my acquaintance with 'old friends' but see them in a different perspective.

cheers.

I understand. You don't want to become too bored or used to such masterpieces. The longer you leave watching it, a greater sense of anticipation grows and you enjoy it more.

Well, said, my friend. There is no finer addiction on earth. I still go to bed hoping devoutly to wake up in the Piz Gloria, lining up my rendezvous, then cunningly sneaking from room unto room.
