Ricky Schroder joins at 6:00, in a few weeks along with
Spoiler
Is your second revelation confirmed? I had heard that it was only for the last 6 episodes?

Agreed that the actress playing Sandra Palmer isn't the best, but I feel that DB Woodside is doing well as the President. However, some of the acting has been among the best we've ever seen on 24, especially Paul McCrane as Graem opposite Kiefer.I just can't believe how bad some of the acting is this season. I almost felt embarrassed watching the scenes with the President this week. This guy and the girl playing the sister are terrible.
I've read that the second character returns around episode 19. Also, the circumstances in which he/she is said to return promise to be amazing! Can't wait!Is your second revelation confirmed? Yes-my source is reliable. I cannot confirm whether it is a cameo or a full blown appearance, but that character is slated to appear in that time.

I also have to agree with the complaints about the acting on the part of Wayne and Sandra Palmer. It has been a low point of the season. Thankfully, Sutherland is putting in one of his strongest performances so its easy to over look some of the other acting flaws.

I think DB Woodside has gotten better as the weeks have gone on with this past week being his best so far. The speech he gave near the end of the episode was good. He was some tough shoes to fill as Dennis Haysbert (Palmer) has a really commanding screen presence (as he still does in The Unit).Agreed that the actress playing Sandra Palmer isn't the best, but I feel that DB Woodside is doing well as the President. I'm calling it first. Wayne Palmer will be saved by Aaron Pierce.
Speaking of presidents me and my mates reckon if Dennis Haysbert ran for president he would have a better chance than any of the candiates right now.

Interesting. I think (Peter MacNicol character) will have a last minute change of heart and save him. Or maybe Assad will. Or someone else. Or he'll die. LOL.

I agree with you dinovelvet, Lennox will save him at the last minute. After the attempt on his life fails, he will then bring in Aaron Pierce to protect him. haha

My money is on some combination of Lennox and Assad saving the President (or at least trying to save him). This season is getting better and better after a few slow episodes. Seeing Morris taking a beating last Sunday (on UK TV) was one of the most violent scenes I've ever seen in 24 - very entertaining!Interesting. I can't see him dying at this point in the season since his character hasn't really done anything significant yet, although they did take Keeler out of play pretty early in Season 4, so who knows what will happen!

Morris is evolving into one of the most memorable characters in the show so far.
Yeah it'll be interesting to see what happens with him. My guess is he's going to try to redeem himself, and he'll end up sacrificing himself to stop one of the nukes from going off, and be a tragic hero!

Hope you're wrong, fear you're right. Few things are more fatal on this least sentimental of shows than trying to do the right thing. Probably, Morris should've had that drink!

Well said. Definitely a solid episode & next week's will be interesting. I was getting a little irritated with Lennox but he has redeemed himself in true 24 fashion. I hope Marilyn gets a few more scenes. She has the best facial expressions. The Glory Days are back again. And Season 6 has moved into high gear on that ever-shifting terrain where anything can happen. Morris is evolving into one of the most memorable characters in the show so far. As for Tom Lennox: Peter MacNicol simply can't take a false step. I'll need a new chair. Sitting week after week on the edge of the seat has worn my poor lounger right down to the nub.

Everything about Logan just screams Richard Nixon to me.
Anyone else get that feeling?
Definately. The guy even looks like Nixon and has the mannerisms down pat. I do like the whole "I've turned to God.... OR HAVE I?" vibe that he's playing now though. Only Charles Logan can make picking what you're going to wear look like he's plotting to Nuke a kindergarden.
Again... WHERE IS AARON PIERCE?!

I couldn't make it out exactly (I wasn't wearing my glasses), but it looked like a passage about redemption.
I thought so too. But I'm wondering...The way that Logan said, so carefully and deliberately, could be taken in one of two ways: he's a damn desperately seeking redemption...or he's a conniving snake who's trying to remember something that could be a code. Do you think?

YES!
So, Jack is going to break into another embassy, (Russian). Dollars to donuts he is caught and claims that Cheng Zhi puts him up to doing it (Yes, he does make another appearance this season). Take THAT for putting Jack in a Chinese prison for 20 months, jerk!
Just wanted to chime in, ttfn!
