I'm in the mood for a double session with Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace.
Good idea. Let us know how they go back-to-back watched closely after each other.
Sorry for my late reply Dave. ( I didn't forget it )
First of all I must say that after watching Quantum of Solace for the 3rd or 4th time I appreciate it more now. Sure it has some cons, but sure as hell it has many pros also. Craig seems more confident in the role, the pre-titles sequence is awesome, gets the blood flowing in style. The scenery of course is gorgeous, could've been explored a little more I dare say. The Tosca sequence is very good with a cool nod to TSWLM, I always grin when Craig starts talking to the Quantum executives through his hearing device.
Camille is an interesting Bond girl, in that she's focused on her objective rather be just a romantc conquest for 007.
So about the double session? they go along together extremely well IMHO. I do recommend it a lot
ps: Some might crucify me for saying this, but I would actually give Marc Forster another go at a Bond movie in the future.

I ended up watching SPECTRE again last night...Proved to be a great way to escape all the election nightmare coverage for a couple of hours..
Advice for all Americans: KEEP CALM AND WATCH SPECTRE.

Yep! LOL...I'm secretly hoping that Bond 25 will reveal that Donald Trump has been a member of SPECTRE all along and that, according to that hilarious meme that's been going round (See the "Daniel Craig" thread), he is assigned to take out Herr Trump...
Meanwhile, I'm in the mood for a Connery film tonight...think I'll go with Goldfinger...

Spectre.
I bought the dvd last weekend and thanks to family and work commitments, it is still sitting there unopened.
I have the house to myself on Sunday, so am looking forward to a couple of hours' indulgence...

Since I got the blu ray I've been watching Spectre now four times at home. Somehow it works better for me on the television than in the cinema.

Tonight I might actually watch my brand new SPECTRE Blu Ray.
And I, too, would give Marc Forster another shot at directing a Bond.
Different editors though.

SPECTRE. Strangely. Since I watched it on blu-ray for the first time on Friday (total viewings: 3). Still sorting out how I do feel about it now. But somehow I feel the urge to watch it again.

I think SPECTRE bodes well in the rewatchability category.
Even though Skyfall, on its own, is a better crafted film, I think SPECTRE is easier to watch over and over again.

Agree with your sentiments - rewatchable for sure.

I agree. Though I've only watched SPECTRE once since I got the bluray. Would probably watch it more if there was a DVD combo pack (Bluray player in living room, but not in bedroom.)

The Living Daylights for me yesterday (courtesy of ITV). IMO Dalton's better movie.

Thunderball. I think Spectre and its meeting scene made me want to revisit it.
Also, I just rewatched the Harry Palmer films, which of course feature Guy Doleman... an interesting actor, born to play an authority figure. He sort of reminds me of Patrick O'Neal. Doleman's screen career seems quite barren, but I can't imagine it was because of a lack of offers.
It would've been interesting to see Nigel Green in a Bond film, too.
