Wow, what a first-topic for CBN, eh? Keep it coming, you're a natural story-teller and the detail is all very enthralling.

Hello all... Sorry I'm a day or two late--had to work this weekend. Let's get to it, shall we?

I slapped my hand on the alarm to kill its insistent beeping. Ah, back to sleep

Another great update! Hope you didn't get too disheartened and it all turned out fine for you in the end. I look forward to be trying to spot you in the film in November!

Yeah, make sure you stick around to point yourself out come release time.

Although I am aware screen grabs will probably be available come DVD release time....

Your background in english is extremely evident, "a gunmetal overcast hovered above..." sounds almost Fleming-esque!

You're all making my day week month!

High praise indeed, and much appreciated! My ego's inflating like Yaphet Kotto in Live and Let Die!

(I'm thinking of taking screenshots of all of your compliments and framing them...) :)

Thanks again, and I'm glad you're enjoying reading this as much as I did living it.

Best to all.

I love the way you turned your "will I make it into the film or not" crisis into actual drama for the story. This thing should be published somewhere, it's that good :)

Superb stuff, have you ever seen Ricky Gervais' follow up to The Office called Extras. You should take a look if you missed it, it will make you laugh.

Well, the man's back!
Grant, are you a published author posing anonymous in these boards or something of the kind? :)
Great writing.

The little tale about the Aston Martin employee really fired my mind.
What it wouldn't be like to drive an AM. Not because it is Bond's car, but because it spells so many things at the same time. These cars actually do have souls...
Back on with the daydreaming.:P

Incredible posts ! Either it's a perfectly con set up to dupe us all, or it's someone involved in one way or another in the production as something else than an extra. It feels like that blog on the CR site, only way better !

(Sound of buzzer)

Sorry! None of the above! But you've still won a year's supply of rice and the electric toe warmers!...

Actually, I'm flattered (again), but I'll say it again because it's true: I was just a guy in the right place at the right time. I enjoy writing (and have been planning to try and make a living at it), and I'm glad you like it. But I've got to disappoint all the conspiracy fans out there...And I'll have a photo of yours truly in the next post.

(Although, technically, you can't really know if it's me...just kidding!)

Not many people know this, but the bow tie was invented by a woman, as a way to remind men that there are some things they will always do better.

At least those were my thoughts after trying to correctly tie the damned thing for fifteen minutes, and ending up with what looked like a dead octopus hanging around my neck. I repeated this every day for the rest of the shoot, and I never came close to getting it right. I'd always have to give up, slink over to an amused wardrobe assistant, then stoop in front of her so she could reach my neck to tie it for me.

It would usually take her all of thirty seconds.

I bring this up because my borrowed bowtie became an issue on Day 4, when we began night shooting. Thank God, no more getting up at 4:15 a.m. From now on, I

It will be interesting to know if you find you can enjoy seeing the final product that is CR as much as previous Bond films, inspite of your presence in or around scenes while being filmed. This aside from artistic merit and its approval.

This may only affect the Czech scenes, but nonetheless...
