The circumstances at the end of CASINO ROYALE, and the fact that we already know that BOND 22 follows the trail of Vesper's past, presents the best opportunity to date to use the title THE PROPERTY OF LADY. I feel that if they opted for a 'new' title, created with no reference to Fleming, then they would have lost a great chance to go back to Fleming once more.
One could even create a "McGuffin", the "Property" of the title, something valuable Vesper had that everybody now wants.

My vote is now for 'Property of a Lady'.

Yes I like that for Bond 22.

1) The Day I'll Never Die
2) Ladykiller
3) Where Every Secret Lies
4) From Death to a Kill
My favourite title of the 4 is 'Where Every Secret Lies', because there is obviously unanswered questions at the end of 'Casino Royale' and there is a secret out there to be found, which is who is behind the organisation funding the world's terrorists! A suited title in my opinion. But that's just me, I dunno what everyone else thinks.

If, indeed, the follow-on story continues, I recommend:
"007 Kicks again."

Well, arguably, you wouldn't expect CASINO ROYALE to be the title for an action movie either!!The organization was SMERSH, which later became SPECTRE. Let's keep this in context here. PROPERTY OF A LADY was a nice little title for IAN, but it really doesn't work for an action movie, does it?

But the power of "Casino Royale" has direct lineage to the author and the novel.
Yes, "Property of a Lady" was a direct title from IAN, but in modern terms, it sounds non-thrilling.
I think "007 Kicks Again" works well.

Then, we'll go down that street for bangers and eggs.
Too bad the Off License won't be open for hours. I'd love to buy us a bottle of wine.
LOL.
That is, if you're a married female.

Oh, sadly not!! Looks like I'll be off to the off licence on my own. That is, if you're a married female.
Liking the link to bring this back to James Bond though... only married females, eh? I wouldn't be your type - "single" (and a guy!)

Last thing from Fleming and also a good title.

I'd be happy if they just used a chapter title. If in fact Vesper appears in one form or another in 22 why not A Whisper of Love, a Whisper of Hate or a variation on that.
That one would work for me.

I've seen tons of reviews discuss the history of CR, so I don't think this would be any harder, and could be a decent little hook. Plus, Vesper worked for the Treasury, and in PFO Bond is called in by the Treasury. And the Double O Section is about to be closed down. I don't like the idea of remakes, and LALD is so different in tone and doesn't follow through on CR's story anyway. If you did this, you could have the government step in and blame M (and Bond) for the breach of security with Vesper and shut down the Double O Section. Then someone from the Treasury could ask M (and Bond) to help because something Vesper was involved with in South Africa appears to be kicking off. Bond investigates; finds a link to Mr White's bosses; reaches different conclusions from both the Treasury and MI6... Quits and goes on his mission.
Let me dream.

Oops! Uh, how was that football game the other day? United really did well, eh?
I lived there for six years in the late 80's. Wonderful place. East Anglia, that is. Got around a bit to Dover and Swansea. I knew a bloke in Swansea that liked Bond so much he bought a Lotus. Didn't have the gadgets though (luckily).

PER FINE OUNCE. Seriously. Now they've used all the Fleming.....
A very fine hypothesis. An informed supposition with intriguing coalitions. The closing of CR with 007 holding that H&K UMP 45 leaves us to realize that "Bond is Back!" It also leaves us to ponder where he will go from there. Granted, a continuation of the Vesper track would indeed provide the ability to induce continuity to our 'new' hero, and provide added weight to the Casoino Royale 'reboot.' One must consider that the 'studio' will want to continue utilizing the Fleming gold mine for minute trinkets which can be expounded/expanded upon.
Consider the possibility of the next novel in line, Live and Let Die. It would be rediculous, no, horrendous to even contemplate a previous Bond remake (CR withstanding). As for anything Connery had made, the term "sacreligious" come to mind.
Other than that, the 'studio' is left with the collection of continuation 'ghost writer' stories. Keep in mind though, when we saw "From a novel by Ian Flemming" in the PTS of CR, it was something we haven't seen in many, many years.
I, for one, agree with your argument, and would like to see the Fleming essence continue, if at least, for the next release.

Or, how 'bout:
DENCH IN A TRENCH
NAKED BOND, PART DOS (OUR MAN ON LATIN AMERICA ASSIGNMENT)
LOOK UP THE NUMBER (IT'S BLOODY 007)
THE BITCH ISN'T BACK, BUT I AM
THE WHITE GUY vs THE BLACK GUY (LEITER RETURNS)
SPY vs SPY (see above)
But seriously, our ponderings here will have little, if any, influence on the outcome of the 'studio's' next release. But it is fun playing with ideas, isn't it, eh?

Some of the chapter titles mentioned might work (A WHISPER OF HATE is pretty cool), but is the rather obscure Fleming reference really pointed enough to matter to anyone but the die-hards. In such a case, I would only want them to go with the referential title if that title was the most appropriate to the story and had the best ring to it.
