we won't see a specific title for bond 22 at the end of "cr".

since bond 15, with the exception of "cr", it's taken them forever to settle on movie titles once all the major bond book titles and usable short story titles had been used.

just a good old "james bond will return" will be enough for me. let them take their time and zero in on the perfect flemingesque title to fit the film.

Considering the fact they've been working on Bond 22 since the press conference for Casino Royale. I don't think it's unreasonable to think that they already have a title set in stone for the new film.

it would be great if you were right. it would just like the early films when the only thing we actually knew about the next bond film was the title ... pre-internet days.

You realize one of the first things that CBNer's are going to post on here after seeing the movie is whether Bond 22's title is revealed during the credits. So the internet will have stricken again :)

I think bond22 should be called "Licence Renewed" Because after DAD bond was mentioned as "000"and should be about how bond got his licence back and on his next mission.

Oh well, its here, in any case I think it should be called TPoaL. It will work well with the end of CR. :)

Isn't Casino Royale a Presequal to all the other bond movies?? :) If it is it should say James Bond will Return In Dr.No wouldn't it say that since it is how bond became 007.

CR is NOT a prequel. A prequel means that this movie takes place before the other Bond movies. Rather, CR is a reboot. This basically means that they are starting over and none of the previous Bond movies occur at all in this new timeline.

Are you aware, Garth, that EON has already made a movie to follow DAD? It's called Casino Royale, and it's the 21st installment. :P :)

Q's "000" crack was just an insult. Bond was still 007. Or 007 again.

To answer the title question, my top choices for Bond 22 are "A Whisper of Hate" or "Risico".

Has it ever occured to you guys that CR could go back to the spirit of the early Bond movies

ie.. "The End Of Casino Royale, But James Bond will be back in Risico" :)

Yeah that's pretty much what is being discussed in this thread. Wondering if the title of BOND 22 will indeed be announced in the closing credits of CASINO ROYALE. Ah well, only 50 days left until we find out...

as one of the only remaining fleming titles, "risico" would be something that bond fans would relate to, but the general movie-going public might not... it really doesn't "pop" and would probably be an advertising and promotional headache... "what is a risico?", "who is risico?", "how do you pronounce risico?".

some titles just SOUND like they should bond films, but the more i think about it, "risico" comes across as pretty flat.

But at the same time, there are probably cinema-goers who would consider using their own initiative as being too much effort. As a result, they would probably be discouraged from the film. I do like the title RISICO, and would be extremely pleased if they returned to Fleming for the title. The reality is that I suspect they might not use it. Only my current gut instinct.

Risico would indeed be a good choice, but I'm another one wondering about the possibility of using the alternate Fleming titles such as The Undertaker's Wind, Mondays Are Hell, The Richest Man In The World, etc.

The fact that they used the title "Octopussy" and it wasn't even a last resort makes it hard for me to question whether or not certain titles will be used. :P

I'm sorry, but The Undertaker's Wind sounds like its about an undertaker with digestive problems... :)
