Granted, today you are allergy free! Tomorrow, however, is a very different story.....
I wish these damn mosquitoes would leave me the bleep alone!

Granted...you rub salt water all over yourself, like Honey Ryder suggests in Dr. No...The good news is the mosquitoes do in fact leave you alone after gorging themselves on the salt water. The bad news, is that salt content is so potent that your skin is shriveled up and wrinkled that people mistake you for a 70 year old (There's never a 70 year old around when you want one!)
I wish that there could have been some sort of Doctor Who-esque, 5-Doctors type of featurette during the 50th anniversary in which Connery, Lazenby, Moore, Dalton and Brosnan could have come face to face with Craig's 007 in some type of temporal distortion event.
Posted 06 September 2013 - 02:45 AM
Granted, but there was no Doctor to fix it.....so the universe was destroyed.
I wish David Tennant were to make it into Bond 24.
Posted 06 September 2013 - 04:20 PM
Granted, incidentally also granting the wish that everyone seems to suspect Barbara B of harbouring - that of making 007 bisexual.
Not the kind of 'making it into' you meant? Too late.
I wish that nothing of that sort ever happens (slash, I mean, not David Tennant in a Bond film).
Posted 07 September 2013 - 05:58 AM
Granted....good-bye Skyfall.
I wish Matt Smith were to play Q following Ben Whishaw's departure.

Granted....good-bye Skyfall.
I wish Matt Smith were to play Q following Ben Whishaw's departure.
Granted, but it's this Matt Smith. He tackles Bond one day, breaking our favorite spy's neck resulting in the end of the series. Angry fans track you down - because it was your idea - and beat you to death.
I wish we'd get a fun Bond film again, sooner rather than later.
Posted 09 September 2013 - 02:09 AM
Granted, it's another spy spoof in the vain of Casino Royale '67. However, Bond has so much fun that he forgets to save the world and he is arrested and sentenced to death for allowing London to be destroyed. Angry fans track you down - because it was your idea - and beat you, VERY SLOWLY AND PAINFULLY, to death.
I wish Timothy Dalton returns to the Bond franchise is some capacity.

Granted, he's the new Bond girl. Angry fans track you down - because it was your idea - and beat you, VERY SLOWLY AND PAINFULLY, to death. Truth is you don't mind. On you tombstone some wit scrawls "it's vein, not vain".

Maybe, but it appears the angry fans caught up to you first, seeing as you didn't include a wish, they must've beaten you to death already.

Once again to get this thread back on track....
I wish that Bond 24 reigns supreme at the box office in 2015, considering all the other highly anticipated movies that will be coming out that year.. (i.e. Star Wars Ep. VII, Jurassic World, Batman and Superman, Terminator 5, Independence Day 2..etc..)
Posted 12 September 2013 - 05:50 AM
Granted, but the success of Skyfall and Bond 24 causes the producers to go even bigger with 25. The budget balloons to well over $1 billion and EON shuts down when it can't recoup even a fraction of that as Bond 25 bombs at the box office.
I wish Christopher Eccleston changes his mind and agrees to appear alongside Matt Smith and David Tennant in "The Day of the Doctor."
Posted 18 September 2013 - 02:56 AM
Granted...Eccleston agrees to appear with Matt Smith and David Tennant but then Peter Capaldi suddenly changes his mind and backs out of the role of Doctor #12...a frantic casting search begins which lasts for even longer than Daniel Craig's casting search.
I wish that certain tabloids would stop spouting rumors of Tom Hardy becoming Bond #7, at least until Bond 25 is completed and we find ourselves at the crossroads of the franchise..

Granted, but then you're back next Wednesday.
I wish for your 'granted' to remain just as you said - a ridiculous rumour and nothing more.
Posted 19 September 2013 - 02:45 AM
Granted, but it gets retweeted so much that the producers actually start to believe it and Bond 25's production is shut down and they vow not work on it until Tamahori's film is completed (which never happens as it's just a rumor).
I wish Solo will be good.
Posted 27 September 2013 - 06:12 PM
Granted it is great but Boyd does not return. :(
I wish we get to see the bulldog from SF in Bond 24 or 25.
Posted 02 October 2013 - 05:28 PM
Granted...the bulldog from Skyfall survives a fall from Bond's 6th floor office window in Bond 24 and in Bond 25, we see it being used as a test subject for one of Q's latest gadgets...it again survives. The damn thing just turns out to be indestructible!
I wish that the Bond 24 news drought, that we're currently experiencing, would end soon!

Posted 03 October 2013 - 10:13 PM
Granted do to it being so popular EON then decides to only release films about Jaws and Q's wacky adventures.
I wish I can catch up on some of my reading this weekend.
Posted 03 October 2013 - 11:21 PM
Posted 04 October 2013 - 01:52 AM
Granted....but the opening title sequence is totally scrubbed from the film..
I wish that I knew where I can find a recording of John Altman's "Tank Chase" score from Goldeneye...
Posted 04 October 2013 - 08:32 PM
Granted. You know where to find it so I don't have to tell you.
I wish there weren't so many dumb, ugly fat women with attitude problems and on a power trip in the civil service. What? My statement politically incorrect? Good!

Granted it doesn't but it does give you a new ringtone that sounds like the Adam's family car horn.
I wish I had a new cell phone.
Posted 05 October 2013 - 06:13 PM
Granted. Your local Arab terrorist cell gives it to you. You never do figure out why all these explosions occur when you push buttons on the keypad.
I wish J.W. Pepper photobombed the end of OHMSS. (Hi Eric!)
Posted 05 October 2013 - 06:34 PM
Granted he actor who plays J.W. plays Bond.
I wish Bond 24 features a famous landmark.
Posted 06 October 2013 - 12:37 PM
Granted, Bond 24 features the site of the US moon landing in 1969 and the villain is Dr. Evil.
I wish my spanish would hurry up and improve so I can communicate with the locals much easier.
Posted 06 October 2013 - 04:25 PM
Granted, but then you find yourself transferred to Germany.
I wish Richard Chopping had done more (all?) of Fleming's book covers.
Posted 09 October 2013 - 05:01 PM
Granted...but then we find out that Sebastian Faulks has been contracted to write the next 5 (adult) Bond books, following "Solo"..
I wish that we actually got to see the stinger missiles in Bond's BMW in action in Goldeneye..
Posted 09 October 2013 - 06:04 PM
Granted, but then he doesn't use it in TWINE and the sawblade-wielding helicopter kills everyone.
I wish Steve Cole's series were about Bond's war years (and that Higson's had covered his days at Fettes).
