I wish I could relive the experience of seeing SINGIN' IN THE RAIN on the big screen tonight over again. Wow.

I wish that we would get solid confirmation right now on who is/who isn't doing the theme to Skyfall.

I wish that we get this much debated new 'Skyfall' trailer in the next week?

I wish that no crazy gunmen shoot up the midnight premier of SKYFALL.

I wish people would stop worrying about how bad SF might be, and stop predicting that it will be 'the best Bond film ever!' and just look forward to it, and enjoy the finished product for its own merits, and not rate it according to their own expectations.
A tall order I know, but if I can do it, someone else must be able to as well.

'Skyfall' does turn out to be a little disjointed in places, and actually looks to re-invent the Bond franchise as a whole by taking lots of iconic imagery, characters and music and turning the on their head to make James Bond far more real, morbind and darker, than we've seen before in any other film, even 'Casino Royale'. The main title theme is done by an electronica DJ using old Bond themes, the villain turns out to be subject of a dream, and 007 himself turns into a hard-edged drinker on the ropes , not knowing who to trust anymore and who is good, bad or real in his life.
But this is over-seen due to your wish, globally accepted and enjoyed, never rated or compared to other films of Bond. Thus EON take this on board and continue with the franchise in this darker, surreal tone as they think we audiences want a totally different James Bond film than we have seen before to really set 007 films apart from other current spy films.
Daniel Craig quits the role in disgust at the reception of this quirky new Bond, Sam Mendes hands over to Quentin Tarantino to direct 'Bond 24', and Sir Roger Moore signs up to play 'M' for the forseeable future.
I wish that 'Skyfall' has a brilliant DVD/Blu-Ray release we can be proud of, unlike other recent enteries to the series to collect!

I wish that for when Bond 24 is in post-production and the first couple of trailers begin to appear, EON and Sony decided to NEVER AGAIN do an "IMAX Exclusive" look at the trailer...it's too frustrating for those who, even seeing TDKR in IMAX, did NOT have the trailer attached to their particular showing..

I wish the new Skyfall standee (http://jamesbondbras...ll_display2.png) is made into a teaser poster and EVERYONE in the Argie film industry is so tired of it that gave me all posters and standees with that design for free!

I wish that for this year's Olympics, I will be 100% successful in avoiding all Tweets and results of the various events posted on Facebook and thus somewhat spoiling the enjoyment of watching the events themselves...I wasn't so lucky during the '08 Vancouver Winter Games..

Once you're back online, you feel so out of touch with things as it's all become old news to everyone else so fast, you are outcast from CBn and other social sites regarding your lack of interaction over the releases...and you never make up the time you lost, because the Olympics dissapointed you to no end this year.
I wish that I was an Olympian in some sport for the London 2012 Games, just for a day!

Right..your wish is granted...you are chosen to represent Great Britain as a member of the Track and Field team...but only as their team bus driver!! However, all is not a total loss as because of your reputation as a valued member of CommanderBond.net, you are chosen to drive the Gold medalist around the stadium in Bond's Aston Martin DBS..
I wish that the Bond and Queen opening ceremony film had featured some more dialogue and banter between 007 and Her Majesty..

I wish that AMC Hornet would write a decent Bond script for the next James Bond video game!

As Richard Burton in The Wild Geese: "Me? Don't you have any decent friends?"
As Clyde Kusatsu in The Choirboys: "Me? Jesus Christ, why me all the time, huh?"
Okay, granted.
Hopefully gamers will be expecting a 'greatest hits' package like they're getting with 007 Legends, because my plot/story will be just as derivative as anyone else's fanfic.
As a twist, however, and because I quickly tire of mowing down poor faceless goons by the gross, my story will have many more levels like 'Elektra's Villa,' which involve a lot of sneaking around and avoiding confrontation. It will also involve a sandbox casino level, where you can linger and play Baccarat and Roulette for as long as you like. Same for the chase scenes, which will be more reminiscent of Crazy Cabby than Agent Under Fire.
In short, it will resemble a Roger Moore film more than a Daniel Craig or Matt Damon outing, in that wits are more important than brute force and firepower. Plus, you have to be able to over-ride parental controls in order to unlock the 'Seduction' levels - a move which may limit sales, as the game will be rated R - but not for violence. Ultimately, poor reviews and disappointing sales projections lead to the project never reaching the shelves.
Now for my wish: I wish there was such a game - I'd buy a PS3 just to play it (as I did with N64 and GoldenEye).

I wish that there would be some news as to how Thomas Newman is progressing on the Skyfall score and whether he has collaborated on the title song with the mystery artist etc...

I wish that the versions of The Girl Who Played With Fire and The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet's Nest starring Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara, would immediately go into production instead of being delayed by at least a year...well the plus might be that we will get at least the second film the same year as Bond 24!

I wish that I had that bit more money to afford the great selection of James Bond books due out for the 50th anniversary!
#1467

Granted!! You save up as much money as possible to buy EVERY James Bond 50th Anniversary Book....but you spend so much that you cannot afford a ticket to go see "Skyfall" in the theater...D'oh!!
I wish that we would have some details about the Skyfall soundtrack, such as track names and such...Other movies like The Bourne Legacy and The Dark Knight Rises had that info out well in advance of the film's premiere..

I wish that we could declare Oct. 26 (for the U.K. folks) and Nov. 9th (for the U.S.) and whatever following Skyfall release days for other members around the globe, as national holidays so that everyone could go and see the film in the morning and then have the rest of the day to savor it in all its wonderful Bond-esque glory..

Please excuse me for hijacking this thread temporarily, but I just wanted to announce that one of my earlier wishes HAS been granted:
I have just received word that I have been accepted as a substitue teacher for a local school division.
This is what I have been working towards for the past 3 1/2 years, so by Oct 26th I'll be celebrating already (I still have to wait for Nov 9th for my 007 fix, however).
That's all, folks. Now, back to Milos' wish:
Granted, but with everyone getting the day off, theatres are packed with casual moviegoers, and it's impossible to get a seat for SkyFall.
Perhaps only certified (or certifiable?) Bond fans should get the day off?
I wish I win tickets for the sneak preview from Tribute.

Your wish is granted....except along with the tickets comes the stipulation that you must escort your class you are substituting teaching, to the sneak preview as a field trip...
I wish that all the excitement, anticipation and thrill that has lead us up to the release of Skyfall happens exactly the same way for the run up to Bond 24!
