I wish that the Bond soundtracks were re-issued for the 50th anniversary but with ALL the music included for those films which only had a portion of their scores released..

Granted. But all is so everything expensive that a. you'll end up selling your house to get the discs or b. you can't buy them.

I wish my neighbour's Wi-fi signal is unlocked and so powerful tomorrow at 7.30 am that I can be able to watch the Skyfall trailer with the iPod during breakfast with NO TROUBLE AT ALL!

Granted. But the trailer is so marvelous that your breakfast tastes terrible by comparison. This puts you in a bad mood, and you get into a fight with a mailman. You are both arrested and thrown into jail. The mailman hangs himself with his belt, and you have nightmares for the rest of your life.

I wish I had a Solex agitator.

Granted...you get the role of a descendant of the janitor from OHMSS....like your famous ancestor, you sole cameo is in a scene where you are pushing a broom as Bond walks across the room.. Instead of whistling "Goldfinger", the script calls for you to whistle Madonna's "Die Another Day".

I wish that a national holiday would be called in honor of the first Skyfall teaser trailer being released...no work or school for anyone!

Granted! In fact, it's happened!

(If you're in Canada, that is.)

Too bad the trailer didn't come out next Monday, on your Memorial Day weekend.

I wish my root canal hadn't cost so much, and taken so long.

Granted, it took 60 seconds and was free, but it was 60 seconds of the worst pain you've ever felt...and you have to go back for another one tomorrow!

I wish that girl had run alongside me when I went for my Monday night run!

I wish that I could win an all expenses paid vacation to a Bond filming location.

Granted: For the filming of For Special Services they put you up at a B & B in Colorado Springs and you get to watch body doubles approach the gates of a mockup of the NORAD HQ bunker (you're not allowed anywhere near the Broadmoor, where the principal players are staying). Then you're whisked by bicycle to the swamps of Louisiana to watch some more body doubles slog through the swamp; they even let you carry some equipment in and out (uncreditied, of course). You catch malaria and miss the premiere, where Babs finally decides to acknowledge your contribution, but as you're not there, she doesn't bother to mention your name.

By the way, did I mention that you're at least 65 before any of this happens?

Cor, I'm getting to be as bad as thecasinoroyale.

I wish I could do what Raymond Benson did, and get paid to teach a course on 007 in popular culture.

Go ahead, sock it to me - I deserve it.

Granted, every students mock at you, don't assist to classes, etc, etc, etc.

I wish I could be paid only for updating the Official Skyfall Facebook page of Argentina with at least more than AR$3000 + posters, lobby cards, premiere tickets and other goodies. (I'd be glad with just updating it without getting paid!)

Nicolas - Your wish is granted! Your payment comes in monthly installments of AR$60, the government taking out administration charges, internet brower space and other small blips. You do recieve your lobby cards, posters, signed DVDs and the premier tickets for the exciting new addition to the franchise of Jason Bourne - 'The Bourne Legacy'! Oh...sorry, administration must have read James Bond wrong as Jason Bourne. All gifts are final and non exchangeable.

^This.

Granted, Conlaz: You read so fast that you whip through William Boyd's upcoming Bond novel without retaining any of it. Even reareading it doesn't help. While other posters are commenting on it in the forums, you cannot contribute - hell, you can't even retain their comments, you read them so quickly. Eventually you go beserk, move away to the Highlands to become a hermit and never try to read or use the internet ever again.

(I am as bad as TCR!)

I wish I could find a well-paying job that I like to get me through the summer.

C'mon back, TCR - I'm at your mercy.

Muahaha! GRANTED - You like to watch James Bond films, so you are hired by EON Productions after they scout CBn for people wishing they could find a well-paid job that they like to get them through the summer via personal e-mail to come and view 'Skyfall' as part of test screening. Obviously, this is the big break you need so, in order to live a dream and make good money, you spend your last dollars on a flight to London and a hotel ready for the screening....

...but the screening lasts for 1 hour as they want James Bond fans to watch and re-watch the 'Skyfall' teaser trailer, tell them what works and what doesn't ready for the theatrical trailer launch and marketing push, which they don't want you for.

You leave the studio...with only a hotel to your name for one night and £100 pounds in your hand....

I wish I could reduce my Wish Granting answers to something probably far funnier and wittier!

I wish they move the North American release date to Skyfall from Nov, 9th to Oct, 26th.

This is my 1,000th post!

I wish I'd made my 1,000th post a lot sooner, so I could have jumpsied TCR and gotten the Skyfall teaser poster as my Avatar.

(AMC, please use the Teaser as your Av, it's fine! The more 'Skyfall' awareness around here, the better...go for it! And Congratulations!!!) :D

The Dove - wish is granted! Klienman returns for the 'Skyfall' opening title sequence and it consits of the title SKYFALL steadily crumbling from the top of the screen, falling to the bottom, like Tetris. The credits flash around the screen and a naked women dances akwardly in the background. For 3 and a half minutes.

I wish that we have some more amazing Bond pictures soon for our Avs...we all need to join forces for a great themed Av fest!

Thanks, TCR, but I was only kidding. If anyone should steal your avatar, it should be SKYFALL.

The av I have selected shows off a reasonable facsimile of my new pride & joy (the golden gun, that is - not the model holding it).

As for your wish:

Granted: dozens upon dozens of pictures of Skyfall manor burning to the ground.

Who's to know who's whom, with avs like that?

I wish a theatre in my backwater would have a screening of Goldfinger - the only Bond film I've never seen on the big screen.

I wish I could go to my cousin's 23rd birthday party this weekend.

Granted! But it turns into a party for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee and you sit around watching the 8 hours of TV programmes waving Union Jack flags and eating cucumber sandwiches rather than anything remotley more interesting and fun. And you heave to all wear Royal Family face masks for effect.

I wish the Nation would have a James Bond Appreciation Day for the 50th Anniversary!

Granted...James Bond Appreciation Day is declared a national holiday..The great part is that every single Bond film, including the non-offical films are broadcast on TV 24 hrs a day, radio stations play all the Bond title songs and such..the downside is that it is mandated that everyone MUST dress up and act like a Bond character, either 007 himself, a Bond lady or a Bond villian. You wander about the crowds in the street hearing and witnessing some of the most appalingly AWFUL Connery impressions (which sound more like Billy Connely or even worse, Mel Gibson's Braveheart Scottish accent), Lazenby impressions (which sound more like Paul Hogan's Crocodille Dundee accent)...People also tend to mix up the lines which each villian says..i.e. a person dressed up like Emilio Largo says " No Mr. Bond, I expect you to die!!". As a purist Bond fan, you immediately hit the pub to start drinking to rid yourself of this nightmare..lol.

I wish that kind of along my corrupted wish, a proprer 007 fancy dress ball would be organized to celebrate the 50th anniversary... i have a tux at home!

Granted. The party is hosted by Barbara Broccoli, and all male attendees are expected to wear a fancy dress and wig, so your tux goes unseen.

I wish I could think of something interesting (and inexpensive) to do while my lady is away next week.

Granted...you decide to have a Bond film marathon...it's certainly inexepensive since you own all the DVD's...or so you think... Halfway through "Goldfinger" your DVD player breaks down so then you switch over to watching the films on your computer/laptop...all goes well until you are starting "Licence To Kill" when your computer/laptop crashes...now with both your DVD player and computer in the repair shop, you are reduced to watching the rest of films on Youtube, part by part, via your smart phone.

I wish that I could time travel ahead 10 years to see what the 60th anniversary of James Bond will be like...who will be playing 007? Will we be on Bond 33? Is Barbara and Michael G. still producing etc...

Sure, now that the week is out, you come up with that.

I actually did have a marathon, but it was a miscellany of spy films of the 60s & 70s (The Macintosh Man & The Contract, to name two). I finished with FRWL - one I save for just such occasions.

And you missed something in your well-wishing, Milos - I still have my VHS tapes, and a working VCR (although my last machine ate AVTAK, which isn't a great loss). Had that system broken down, then I would have been screwed.

BTW, granted: you travel ahead 10 years in time and learn everything about the next decade of Bond, but in the process you miss seeing those films on the big screen, and you find you are unable to come back in time to win any bets about what's to come.

I wish there was a 'forgotten' Bond film from the 50s, along the lines of the fantasy Orson Welles/Dirk Bogarde Moonraker rumour that cropped up a while back - or at least a lost Fleming manuscript. That would see us through to November.

(time to get this thread going again)... Granted AMC!...A long lost, incomplete television script by Ian Fleming is discovered from 1956, titled: "Casino Royale 2: The Revenge of LeChiffre"...it was written after the televsion play of the 1954 Casino Royale and Barry Nelson was supposed to reprise the role of Jimmy Bond and takes on members of Le Chiffre's gang who want revenge for his death.. Not surprisingly, the storyline was so flimsy that Fleming abandoned it all together..

I wish that at somepoint in Skyfall, Ben Whishaw's Q loses patience with Daniel Craig's Bond like we used to see in the old days with Desmond LLewellen and Sean Connery and Roger Moore.
