Granted: Purvis and Wade are already planning a story that incorporates the 'best' of Moonraker, AVTAK and Die Another Day.
"It's both a remake, sequel and homage to these three classic films," Purvis & Wade tell Hollywood Insider. "There's plenty of stunt guest casting and cameos by old series favorites like Richard Kiel, Tanya Roberts and Halle Berry..."

Need I go on?

That'll give you something to look forward to for the next three years.

I wish The Dove does not slash his wrists when he mistakenly assumes that this is a true report.

Granted! He starts a fan forum for 'Moonraker's View To Another Day' that eclipses CBn as it is so popular, and CBn is forced to close due to The Dove's very sick joke...

I wish that we could all get together one day to put faces to names in one big Bond-a-thon CBn meet!!

(So do I, thecasinoroyale, and thank you, AMC Hornet, for your previous wish about me not slashing my wrists! LOL)

Granted...many of us CBn'ers attempt an in-person meet in London..but due to travel complexities, only three UK based CBners show up (thecasinoroyale, Mharkin and Vauxhall).. AMC Hornet gets detained at the Canadian border, The Dove gets snowed in by a rare April blizzard and all major Colorado airports are closed (I wouldn't put it past Colorado weather, though we've had very little snow this year thus far), Marketto is finally caught by EON for posting more leaked 'Skyfall' items on his website (I certainly DON'T hope this happens, Marketto..lol), Nicolas Suszcyzk cancels at the last minute as he finally manages to track Pierce Brosnan down on location filming in Argentina on his latest film, and we just miss by a day or two, Bryce003 and some of the other LA based CBners as they return their latest "Bond-ing" adventure in the UK. Hmm.. online Skype session or live video conferencing one of these days perhaps??

I wish a VIP section were set up for CBn members at the premiere of 'Skyfall' or a future Bond film, so that those who would be able to attend would be able to enjoy the film all to themselves as true Bond fans and not have to be mixed in amongst the casual Bond fans..

Granted! He wishes that any wish upon a star will come true. It doesn't, and he gives up wishing on stars and leave the CBn 'Corrupt... a wish!' thread. Depressed about not being able to wish anymore, he leaves CBn altogether...never to be seen again.

I wish that Severine, in 'Skyfall' will have plenty of screen time and bare some flesh for the male Bond fans out there...sorry, but she is delicious!

Granted, but the changes you make cause the film to bomb, killing the series dead in 1970.

Fortunately, nobody hates you for this, because the 007 series is remembered as a 60s flash in the pan.

Come 2012, regretting your actions, you decline the opportunity to travel back in time, thereby re-establishing the original timeline. Eric does not go mad.

So, how do you know that all this didn't actually happen?

I wish the official SKYFALL poster would be released soon - Ilive in a city with a movie poster warehouse outlet.

Granted...A "Tour The World of 007" filming locations tour is organized for Bond fans around the globe...However, the tour turns out to be less than stellar as you discover you pay top dollar to visit such locales as: an empty dumpster on the streets of Colon, Panama which is where 007 dumps Mathis' body in Quantum of Solace, a street corner in Harlem, New York where a broken down, shoe polisher stand sits...it is claimed that this is the exact stand where one of Mr. Big's men reports Bond's taxi turning the corner. Other glamorous locals include the bordello where the crew of 'The Man With The Golden Gun' stayed while filming in Phuket and an auto junk yard in Bern, Switzerland to see a rusted out yellow dump truck which is claimed to be the one Campbell stands by as he sends the X-ray machine up via crane to 007 in Gumbold's office.

I wish that an "Eat Like James Bond" tour would be organized for the 50th anniversary!!

Granted! Across the states and counties of the world, McDonalds strikes up a sponsorship with EON Productions to feature 00-7 different burgers to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of James Bond. Each burger comes with a drink, marketed as a 'Shaken, Not Stirred' soft drink and fries which are marketed as 'Fingers Of Gold' so you too can 'Eat Like James Bond!'

The burgers are released every 2 weeks, and they consist of -
  • 001 - The McKananga - A jambalya-fueled taste of New Orleans!
  • 002 - The McStromberg - Fillet of fish, just as they serve in Atlantis!
  • 003 - The McZorin - An infusion of rich flavours and smell as found in San Francisco!
  • 004 - The McSanchez - A hot and spicy taste of Latin America!
  • 005 - The McOnatopp - Cool, crisp dressing with a spicy surpise inside!
  • 006 - The McBroccoli - The veggie option, a nice bean burger!
  • 007 - The McBond - The burger for any secret agent with a licence to grill!
I wish that Duran Duran perform the title song for 'Skyfall'!

(Urgh, R.C.M? Well you corrupted that one good and proper!)

Granted! They are all on to you actually, and so are their parents and the police as they come knocking on your door for accusations of stalking, harrassment and talking with intent to flirt and seduce - you're given a restraining order from all seven girls who in turn learn to hate you and black list your name across the campus and surrounding area.

I wish that they made a Point and Click adventure game based on a James Bond film, in the thread of 'Monkey Island' or 'Kings Quest' that called upon quick thinking, storry telling, action sequences and a plot to solve.

(God, Red Carpet Massacre SUCKED!! Duran Duran's last good album was 2004's Astronaut...oh and I LOVED your "McDonalds corrupted wish", thecasinoroyale..some of those burgers sound "not, half bad.." LOL)

Right..

Granted...but the point and click function of this new Bond game becomes absolutely useless when it comes to the shoot-em up action scenes..as a result, you find it nearly impossible to pass the more difficult levels where the number of baddies doubles and triples.. You become frustrated with the game and end up selling it off at a fraction of the cost you bought it for.

I wish that Daniel Craig has a REALLY cool, "Bond, James Bond" line moment in 'Skyfall'!

Granted...you get hired as an assitant to the producers on the next Bond film..the pay is definitely better but the work is not as glamorous as you might imagine..you get to make tea and coffee for Michael and Barbara, make photocopies of the daily updated script pages, shuttle various actors back and forth on golf carts from the set to their trailers etc... For a while it goes like a dream.. but then, due to the constant pressure from other CBn members for classified info, you decide to post some behind the scenes secrets and are unfortunately caught by EON. Sadly, you are fired..

I wish that Javier Bardem's character in 'Skyfall' has a memorable death scene and not something stupid like Kananga blowing up like a balloon and exploding in Live and Let Die..

Granted. It is so memorable that EON doesn't risks to do a better "villain death scene" in future Bond films, so all villains end up alive from Bond 24 onwards!

I wish I could met "the next girl" at uni very soon, at that she's one of the nine or ten I like!

(need to get this thread going again..)

Granted! ...You and your cousin decide to do a "Skyfall" pub crawl around London, stopping at pubs at all the various shooting locations. The idea is, for those of you who have never done a pub crawl, is one drink at one pub then move on to the next stop... You and (he or is it she?) indulge in a few Vesper martinis, some Heinekens, some rum collins and other various Bond-related cocktails..By the time you get to Embankment/ (the fictional Temple station in the film) you are totally tanked...However, by good fortune you happen upon the "Skyfall" crew shooting some last minute, extra scenes and you end up the movie as two extras who are spotted staggering out of a pub as M's Jaguar come screeching around the corner along with some "Police" vehicles..

I wish that when the "Skyfall" trailer DOES appear, that we have a new rendition of the Bond theme to accompany it...not the same old generic, "choral version" which first appeared for "Casino Royale."

Granted! (What's wrong with the choral! Lol!) We get a new James Bond theme to celebrate the 50th Anniversary to show an old legacy mixing with a new, modern take on the series in 'Skyfall'. The trailer music is here....

I wish that this 'Big Announcement' on Monday is really going to be a good pay-off for Bond fans!

(Ugh that's awful! LOL... Nothing wrong with the "choral version" of the Bond theme, casino...just getting a little bit old and a shake up would be most welcome to me..)

Granted...the 'Big Announcement' on Monday is indeed the release of the teaser poster...but EON is "up to their usual tricks" and launch a website where they make Bond fans play various games and unearth clues which unlock a piece at a time of the poster...sort of like a big jigsaw puzzle. Unfortunately, SO many fans try to play the unlocking games at the same time, the website crashes and doesn't get back up for at least another week.

I wish that some of the new gadgets to be featured in the Aston Martin DB5 in "Skyfall", would be some of the un-used ones from Goldfinger, like the nail gun which is housed in the tail lights...
