"single-disc editions; no special features are included"
My UE of Living Daylights doesn't seem to have the subtitles previously missing in the SE namely - Bratislava, "what kind of girl do you take me for" etc.
Did anyone else experience this?
Also one of the discs has the image of Dalton from the advance 1 sheet of LTK on it. Silly mistake.

I get the feeling that some "fans" won't be satisfied until each Bond film gets its own 8-disc special edition with 19 commentary tracks and 3 hours of deleted scenes. And even then they'll probably complain about it, saying EON are too cheap to put out a ninth disc

It's 2-007! With 999 channels available on TV these day, where's my James Bond Channel???

Yeah, but a 2 1/2 hour film with 90 minutes of extras, including Chris Cornell's music video, trailers, and no commentary or retrospective on Fleming, is just a tease. At least the single-release UEs aren't pretentious. It's just the movie. Period. Maybe a commentary. Perfect if you don't want all the doo-dads. But when there's a demand for lots of extras, just including a mediocre amount is all for money. (Well, it's all for money, really.) I say either release the film alone or go for the gold with the extras. Still haven't bought Jaws, which is one of my very favorites, for this reason.I get the feeling that some "fans" won't be satisfied until each Bond film gets its own 8-disc special edition with 19 commentary tracks and 3 hours of deleted scenes. I've said it before and will say it again here; I wish the US got the attache case.

Maybe if we understood what "revoked" means it may change things.I've said it before and will say it again here; I wish the US got the attache case.
There seems to be some distaste when it comes to releasing all the Bond films at once in the US...it never seems to happen.

Hey, blame Pete Jackson.

Yeah. I actually appreciated those a lot at the time. Non-letterboxed and grainy picture, but who cared? At least it was uncut, unlike the chopped-up network versions of the films.Yeah, but a 2 1/2 hour film with 90 minutes of extras, including Chris Cornell's music video, trailers, and no commentary or retrospective on Fleming, is just a tease. Wow, I remember the stone age days where movies were released on VHS with NO FEATURES and not made available to buy until at least A YEAR after the movie came out.
I guess the current times of instant gratification are a far cry from the days of being happy with what you get...

He-he. Yesch. And I'm still enjoying mine. But, as my luck goes, just as soon as I invest in the UE's, out will come the next new-and-improved edition. Still, my VCR isn't gonna last forever, eh?Yeah. I actually appreciated those a lot at the time. Non-letterboxed and grainy picture, but who cared?
