The shots appear to me as in between takes. not necessarilly exactly what he will be waering in the shots etc. Yes, his hair does look darker to me.

I would be quit confident that this is the look for the fight in the embassy that has been filmed over the last few days.

I wouldn't be so sure of that. They shoot plenty of stuff out of order. It could be from any moment from the film, as far as we know.

Yes, I know they shoot stuff out of order, but once an actor is in costume and is made up for a fight sequence he tends to do that for the day.

Also, what happens is that he just goes back to his trailer when they are moving the lights and setting-up for next camera angle on the same set. This happen all day long and for days on end in a complex fight sequence.

Darren, I thought Bond ended in '85 for you?

Oh no....I like the Dalton movies, I rank The Living Daylights high on my ranking of the 007 movies, above some of the Moore ones.

Ah so you just don't care for LTK. I guess I'm in the camp that hasn't been truly inspired since '89.

For me, Bond ended in 1974. But, still, I think we're in for a shot of quality not seen in the series since the Dalton era ("That shouldn't be too difficult"). Any lingering doubts about Craig's suitability have now been well and truly dispelled.

So the Rugby player photo has convinced you Loomis? :D I'll have to wait until I see him actually act in a Bond film. And for me Bond hasn't ended at all........YET. :D

Another day of CBn going just that edge OTT. Some photos of a man off to find his lunch and the world's gone mad.

Although it's quite endearing, actually.

Anyone else think that picture of him in the ooooh-so-tight top makes him look like he's been made out of rubber? Perhaps that's just me.

Yeah, his bloody wound could have been obtained from that Vesper/Bond bedroom scene the casting was based on.

Hell, it could be when he first showed up on set. These could be his personal "street clothes." It makes sense, since they wouldn't allow the press on the studio lot (it's probably VERY SECURE). They are probably hanging out on public property just off thelot, grabbing whatever shots they can.

Tis would also explain the "just got out of bed" hair actors seem to like when they aren't working) before the hairstylist has worked on it for the day. (The 3rd picture, it looks like they'd "tamed" it).

I like the short cropped hair. It looks ex-military to me. (Of all of Brosnan's hairstyles, I always thought the cropped look in TWINE looked the most "Bondian" but that's just me).

Ah, you were so close; but the most unutterably pisspoor joke has to remain the month upon month of Whasshisface telling us that Hugh Jackman, or he himself, had been signed as Bond.

Do you think Daniel Craig walks about the streets with fake blood on his arms and a make-up cut on his head as some sort of fashion statement?

Yes. Yes I do.

Well, no I don't but it would be fun to believe that he's simply that hard. Turn up for filming after an evening's fighting and when filming's done, go off and have another scrap.

Looks quite a tough customer. Also looks as though he has had his hair dyed.... with more than a few touches of grey!!!!!!!!

I think the gray may just be some kind of dust/dirt etc..

The first rule of Casino Royale is you do not talk about Casino Royale.
The second rule of Casino Royale is you DO NOT talk about Casino Royale.
The third rule of Casino Royale is don't bother getting around to casting anyone...

LICENSE TO KILL certainly had its moments, it just didn't feel like a Bond movie to me - more like an feature length episode of MIAMI VICE. Still, it was better than 3/4ths of what Pierce did.

Yes, although don't let him near a speedboat, unless you want him to :D his pants.

Interesting to see these shots. Feels good to see Bond looking rough and tough again after an absence of 15-plus years.

Nice cheap shot.

Makes me feel less bad about the one I just leveled on Danny.

Nah, he could take a speedboat any day of the week. Rubber bastards. Did you spill my ale? You looking at my bird? No? What's wrong with her then? C'mon. C'mon. Right - outside.

How I long for the days of the Oliver Reed school of messing about and then doing a little acting and then messing about again. How I long to see Daniel Craig pummelling seven shades of excrement out of a speedboat or a lamppost or a walrus, for the hell of having a fight. How defamatory all this is.

Cooooool! (Thanks marktmurphy).

I think Craig looks GREAT! Love the short hair, love that he looks rough and tumble. I didn't like how Craig looked at the press conference, to be honest. He doesn't look comfortable in a suit and he would not work with coiffed hair. I'm happy to see their are letting Craig be Craig and letting him be his own Bond instead of an imitation of what went before or an attempt to shoehorn him into the stereotypical image of 007.

I'm excited!

James Bond is dead...LONG LIVE JAMES BOND.
