anyone want to speculate whether he's wearing lifts?

Let the most enduring conspiracy theory and controversy in Bond fandom since The Admiral Hargreaves Question begin! :D

Seriously, a couple of years from now there'll be a 72-page thread on CBn based around a shot where Craig walks down a corridor at 23:09 on the CR DVD that "proves" he's wearing lifts. :D

Please, no!!! :D

His shirt looks like something Stamper would wear in TND... But then again, this is a "tougher and younger" Bond, we are told. Looking forward to more pics!

Cool! :D He certainly looks like he could take Brosnan or even Connery in a fight! :D

I wonder what they're shooting exactly?

I agree, this looks like the end of a good tough action scene.

Yes, the parkour sequence, possibly.

And is this the most musclebound Bond we've seen since THUNDERBALL?

Did you by any chance see OHMSS?

Having just consulted a doctor, I am informed that those injuries to the arm would be consistent with a high speed pursuit across rooftops.

How deeply can we analyse these pics? I think I've outpasted the pasty with my observations on the cone, so anyone else wanna step up to the plate? No one's commented on the trousers yet - any idea which regiment they might belong to? :D

Sheesh. Must OHMSS always trump every other Bond film in every single respect as far as you're concerned? :D

Well, a watch fan elsewhere has identified Bond's new watch as an Omega DeVille 4832.51.31 Co-Axial Power Reserve on a strap. How's that?

I try to distance myself from my passion for it when I can.

But you honestly think Connery was in better shape in TB than Lazenby was in OHMSS?

What film or stills have you seen?

What they're filming in the Czech Republic are actually scenes set in the UK! MAJOR SCOOP ALERT!!!!!!!!

Okay, I'm making a tit of myself, but, hey, we're all allowed to do that here once in a while. :D

I'll get me coat.

Hm. Coincides with a story I just read. Two unknown men did a base jump off the Park Lane Hilton Hotel in London. The stunt was witnessed and caught on camera by a certain Charlie Somers, who was scouting Park Lane for CR

Yes and Craig looks more muscular than Lazenby did.

Craig is going to be what the producers had hoped Lazenby would be; they found someone with toughness that wouldn't disappoint the Connery fans, but alas, without character.

I think it's very interesting placement that he's coming after pretty boy Bros. I think the world is going to be very torn after watching Craig as Bond. On one half they will be forced to admit they are immensely impressed with the physical strength of his portrayal of Bond. On the other half, they will have entered into the film being very skeptical of his "looks" and already upset at the usurper of fan-fave Pierce.

In Loomis' recent questionnaire I stated that Craig, after a couple decades or more, may end up not so much in the middle between the 'popular' Bonds of Connery/Moore/Brosnan, and the other two, but rather as an enigma. Unrankable in the world's eye.

So, I don't really know about the rest of the world, but I will predict that Craig is ultimately going to be my #2 Bond (after Connery). Not saying he is now - I will be honest if it does not turn out to be so. But I predict!

I don't know, to be honest. At a guess, I'd say Connery was bigger and more muscular, but that doesn't necessarily mean he was in better shape. Dunno, really.

But we're getting away from the truly important things, which aren't muscles but hair and height!

I like this look. But I also like the haircut he had at the photo shoot months ago. From these pics we can see that we have the first Bond to have a little grey in his hair! and he looks much older than Brosnan!

Are we sure it is grey hair or some sort of makeup residue of an explosion or dust or something. I seriously doubt they would grey his hair, cosmetically. I think it must be due to rough and tumble and fighting, explosions or some such.

You don't see the grey in Brosnan's DAD do?
His hair was practically silver in the billboard promos I saw!

I'd say they're shooting some kind of Bond-in-training sequence. Notice the camouflage paint on his arm.

Interesting to see these shots. Feels good to see Bond looking rough and tough again after an absence of 15-plus years.

Yeah. Most definitely. Heck, Craig looks mighty imposing in those shots. I'm liking what I see and can't wait to see him in more Bondian attire.

I can't recall a scene where Lazenby's physique was on display in On Her Majesty’s Secret Service.

Some of it is, yes. But his hand and forearm look a bit darker to me. Could just be a shadow though, of course.

I see MI6 have cleverly picked up on this story (without any credit) and have even more cleverly placed the watermarked pics on their site, which is so tremendously stupid and legally dangerous I can't even begin to think about it.
