Oh Lady Rose, women of the world, such as ourselves, would NEVER allow a mere male to lower us into such unseemly behavior as a cat fight
The game is much more fun, played with style and flare. Besides, men are just desserts. While desireable and tasty, not worth any petty behavior between sisters. Especially, BOND sisters :D .
If I'm not woman enough to keep my man's attention, it not another woman's fault if I lose him.

Think about it...would Pussy and Tiffany really cat fight over Bond. Lupe and Pam didn't.

What I meant is that I, in general, don't like men who are significantly older than I am.. because I am "always in motion" and am very lively and like to have lots of fun. which things combined, have always wearied out my one(!) significantly older boyfriend. They just can't handle me if the age difference is too big! lol :D

View Post

Well, thats fine and dandy for you Alessandra, but it looks like there could be a three way cat-fight between me, Pam and DW :(

There is a lot to be said for the 'older' man. A little world weariness and expertise ( ) goes a long way in my book. :D

Wonderful Lady Rose, wonderful! [censored]
Should I be the referee of the catfight?? ooohh I LOVE catfights! [censored]
Actually.. let's be practical women. You could divide the days of the month wisely among three. Ten each! [censored]
And certainly, expertise does have good reasons to go a long way in your book![censored]
now I had a joke in mind about this.. but it's a little too daring to post it on here and at such a time of the day! lol [censored]
I take your point gladly of course, we'll NEVER fight over men, how great! :D

There is alot to be said for life experience. I want someone who gets my jokes and can keep me guessing. I have never been interested in someone significantly younger. When they talked about making Bond 22 year old Henry Cavill, I was destroyed!! I would feel like a child molester lusting after someone so young!
NO, give me a man of the world with the style, class, and knowledge of the heart that the latter implies!

Then again, one of the best things about Bond is he's an adolescent trapped in a man's body. (He's pretty good on a motorbike...)

Sorry Dalton's Wendy, I was late for my class and had to run before responding.  Yes, most of our new poeple are from New Orleans, as well as from St Bernard and Plaquemine Parish.

It's always nice to get a new LSU fan from Canada!

Hi, hcmv007, Sweetie -- y'all!

Thanks for replying! Yes, from what I understand, Baton Rouge received only a fraction of Katrina's vengeance. Hope things are getting back to normal!

I have some friends in Baton Rouge. Wait till I tell them I am now a TIGERS fan!

So, darling, don't forget to let us know the final score! Our money is on
GEAUX TIGERS!

Here's why EON hasn't hired me yet. They have Purvis and Wade I suppose...

BOND
Have you eaten?
WENDY
Unfortunately, yes.
BOND
Perhaps I can interest you in some dessert?
She smiles.
INT. CASINO RESTAURANT -- LATER
The table is covered with the remains of a plate of strawberries, large and ripe, a bowl of cream cheese whipped with marshmallow fluff and a bottle of Bolinger champagne.
BOND
Satisfied?
WENDY
What do you think?
Bond reaches out for a strawberry, dips it in the cream and lifts it to her mouth.  She bites into it hungrily.
They rise from their seats and move toward the door.
WENDY
Will you show me that gift of yours again?
BOND
Certainly.

What do you mean, Major B, Baby, when you say why EON hasn't hired me yet? It's merely because they have not yet seen your work! I'm placing a call to MGW and BB right now . . .

I am sitting here and salivating over your story, and the strawberries! A girl just loves to be fed strawberries by a handsome, mysterious stranger!

And . . . I am simply dying to see that gift of James' once more . . .

I'm open to suggestions.

If it's mine, you bring the blinis for the beluga. I'll have the smoked salmon and all required caviar condiments ready.

I'll just bill it to CBn or my Fortnum's account.

Devonshire cream is nice- but try the cream cheese and marshmallow. You won't be disappointed.

And I wrote it late at night with a baby sleeping on my chest. When things amused me I had to keep myself from laughing.

Cream cheese and marshmallow fluff . . . ??? Well . . . you know . . .

I have to say, Major B., that it reminds me of a sandwich which was, at one time popular -- so much so, it even had its own accompanying jingle:

"Oh, you need bread, bread, bread,
And lots of peanut butter,
Add marshmallow fluff
And have a fluffernutter.

(second verse, worse than the first:)
When you've enjoyed, joyed, joyed,
Your 'marsh' with peanut butter,
You're glad you have enough
For another fluffernutter."

Actually -- it was the most delicious thing I had ever tasted!

A) Eon can't possibly have forgotten to hire you since you write so nicely and your script is so lively and basically.. awesome :D So I take it you haven't tried hard enough! *taps foot* Bad, bad major! you need some serious PRs!!
Wendy's already taking care of it, of course. Bill includes my agent's fee. and yes, we're very reasonable.

:( aaawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww the baby sleeping on your chest!! how cuuuteeeeeeeee!!!!
Smooth, very smooth... too many smooth operators here! lol :D
But the baby sleeping image is just too cute...
And if you manage to do this with a baby sleeping on your chest.. I guess you can manage to do it with Purvis and Wade trying to derail you! lol :D

This is even further off topic, as if that was possible.

When I was in college (back in the 80s is all I'll say) we used to play a drinking game called "I've never." The first person makes a true statement, as in: "I've never been in a Turkish prison." If you can't say the same thing, truthfully, you take a drink.

It's a way to get to know things about people in a fun way. My improv troup has a more active version of the game.

Anywho, I was involved in a pretty wild game of this one night with a few friends including an enormously gorgeous girl that I'd been interested in for a while.

Then, one of my friends says, "I've never used a piece of athletic equipment during foreplay."

Now, at that tender age I had not yet used a piece of athletic equipment during foreplay (grad school was more interesting for me) so I just chuckled and nodded. Until I saw almost every other person at the table take a drink.

My gorgeous girl did not take a drink either.

What this has to do with lobsters is up to your imagination. Might I suggest a cauldron of butter.

Purvis and Wade are hacks. But they're employed hacks.

I have ideas for a Bond script, and I'm even thinking of writing it up, but the realities of the industry is that nobody would look at it. Especially our friends at EON Productions.

But I'd gladly give someone 20% if they can get me an interview. It worked for Jeff France.

The Line of Beauty

Not only was it easy to be alone in a crowd, decided James Bond, at times it was preferable. No one noticed him snatching the cat from the crowded gallery floor and releasing it to the freedom of the pavement outside. Any pussy that was forced to wear a velvet smoking jacket had problems galore and, in his opinion, needed to get out and live a little. He watched the Persian Blue slink out through the door and scamper up Cork Street. The art gallery was not Bond
