I actually like the figure better than the actual suit.Horrible figure. Looks nothing like the suit due to the appalling paint job.

Why? That figure right there is as bad as the "ice" suit in BATMAN AND ROBIN. It looks really silly. At least the actual suit is intimidating and has a gritty, urban edge. You seriously prefer that figure to this:I actually like the figure better than the actual suit.Horrible figure. Looks nothing like the suit due to the appalling paint job.

Remember when Batman was beige, brown, and grey? WRONG! IT NEVER HAPPENED!

Batman's suit has been grey in the comics... and the suit in that picture is entirely grey and black, without any beige and brown. He has that brass-colored belt?

I think the lighting is playing tricks on you. I don't think there's gonna be any brown or beige in the suit. Gray is fair game, based on the comics.Remember when Batman was beige, brown, and grey? WRONG! IT NEVER HAPPENED!

The lighting and the angle of Batman's pose in this picture suck so it's hard to see what the suit actually looks like. Why? That figure right there is as bad as the "ice" suit in BATMAN AND ROBIN. I disagree. I think the lighting's pretty solid (though stylized) and pose isn't bad. We can't make out some details (the cowl is somewhat obscured), but we get a very good idea of what the suit looks like on the whole (and under film lighting, no less). The lighting and the angle of Batman's pose in this picture suck so it's hard to see what the suit actually looks like.

Read about this last night. I cannot wait to see this teaser. Hopefully it will make its way online soon.

I've watched it and... it's a bit rubbish. You don't see anything from the film. Talk about skimpy portions. It is real, though- there's dialogue.
It's a true teaser

They're really trying not to let a lot out of bag for this one, that's for sure.

Rubbish is a bit strong, but it's not awe-inspiring by any stretch. It does what it sets out to do - tease.I've watched it and... it's a bit rubbish.
I love Ledger's Joker voice. You don't see anything from the film. Talk about skimpy portions. It is real, though- there's dialogue.

I love Ledger's Joker voice.
Me too. When I first heard it I said "What the...", I guess I was expecting something similar to Hamill, but I've really warmed to it. He sounds so sadistic which is perfect. Ledger really transformed for this role; if I didn't know he was playing the part I would have never recognized his voice.
I'm going to assume the dialogue was recorded specifically for the trailer (wasn't that the case with the trailer for BEGINS?); it just had that calm quality that you may get when actors aren't in a particular scene...if that makes any sense.
Do we really have to wait another year? Well I guess until then I'll just keep looking at set photos, watching BEGINS, and reading The Long Halloween

Awesome. A nice continuation of that "ibelieveinharveydenttoo.com" stuff we got before. Wonder what we'll see tomorrow?
No kidding.Ledger really transformed for this role; if I didn't know he was playing the part I would have never recognized his voice.I love Ledger's Joker voice.
I'm 100% certain that it's actual dialogue. It doesn't read like trailer dialogue, it's choppy and feels like it was taken out of context. Furthermore, the Joker sounds like he's out of breath or something, so that really seems like it was an actual moment from the film.I'm going to assume the dialogue was recorded specifically for the trailer (wasn't that the case with the trailer for BEGINS?); it just had that calm quality that you may get when actors aren't in a particular scene...if that makes any sense.
It's certainly no calmer than the Judi Dench voiceover from the CR teaser, and that was legitimate dialogue.
Or check out the viral campaign.Do we really have to wait another year? Well I guess until then I'll just keep looking at set photos, watching BEGINS, and reading The Long Halloween

I also like the theory that the Joker is mocking Dent with his lines. Very fun.

His delivery is usually that laid back. And it's probably a really laid-back scene, too, and they might have even used the most relaxed take to provide the voice-over.I don't know; Caine's delivery just sounded very laid back to me.

Agreed. It does sound like a great teaser, and I'm looking forward very much to seeing it. So far the marketing for this film has been very, very good, so I'm sure that this won't disappoint either.

As posted before, the description given there isn't real and if it is (which I find highly unlikely), it's definitely not the one we're getting.
The teaser that we're getting is the one that Harmsway and myself have been discussing (just logo and dialogue).

Although you do see a brief flash of Joker as the logo bursts.
