Way to go New Orleans Saints!! Awesome game yesterday!! B)

I'm also very happy my Broncos BEAT DOWN the Chiefs in Kansas City, 44-13, for the first December win @ Arrowhead since 1994!!

Steelers lose to the Raiders???? WTF??

Patriots are looking more and more flawed with their loss to Miami..

and..whoops! The Minnesota Vikings came crashing back down to Earth last night with their loss to the Arizona Cardinals..

Overall, a very entertaining weekend in the NFL...

That is an interesting factoid, Dove. I can't believe it has been that long since we won a Dec game in KC. I'm always entertained when the Broncos win!

Good news is it looks like we are probably headed to the playoffs. Bad news is that San Diego is gaining their usual December momentum and they are looking really good this time.

Yup Eric...trouble is San Diego's got a real cushy schedule the rest of the way I think.. did we really expect them to lose to the Cleveland Browns? LOL B)

I wouldn't worry about the Patriots too much. They're going to win the AFC East, by virtue of the fact that it's the worst division in professional sports. The Bills, Dolphins, and Jets are no competition for the Patriots over the long haul of a season, even though all three teams have either beaten the Pats or given them all that they can handle during a game or two this year.

Ugh. This year is a bad year for both my teams. Reds can't keep it together and the Steelers are playing mediocre. Someone, please tell me this is all a bad dream.

Somebody please stick a fork in the defending champion Pittsburgh Steelers... They are DONE!! WTF??? They lose three in a row to the worst teams in the league (Chiefs, Raiders and now the Cleveland Browns)... B)

I don't get it either. When I watched the Steelers thump Denver they looked like they were back in Super Bowl form. WTF?! What happended to the Pats?! Is this a changing of the AFC guard? Perhaps San Diego and and Indy will rule the roost? Between this and the Tiger Woods debacle I am feeling a little woozy...

Big game this weekend in Indy. It will take a minor miracle for the Broncos and maybe some intervention from the football gods, but I am pulling for a big upset!

I've actually got a good feeling about the game, Eric.. I think that after losing the last three times in Indy, Denver will finally get over the hump this weekend and end the Colts winning streak..but it'll be a close one!! B)

*sigh* we lose AGAIN to the @#*$ing Colts!! I really, really hate those guys.. Still gotta give Denver's defense credit for putting up a fight and picking off Manning 3 times..but our offense wasted so many opportunities to put points on the board..blech!! Ahh well..the losing streak continues.. 0-4 in Indy now I think it is? B)

Great work, Jets. B) You're not going to make the playoffs (because you hold absolutely no tiebreakers due to a poor stretch that involved losses to just about everyone currently in the running for the wildcard), and now you're hurting the draft position for next year by winning. Honestly, the best thing the Jets could do for themselves now would be to lose out, finish 7-9, and hold on to some semblance of a decent draft position.

And, yes, I'm being serious.

Thats a real shame.. B) . Just when it seemed like the often-troubled Henry had finally started to get his life together, he had to go and do somethings idiotic like jumping on the back of the moving pick-up over a domestic dispute.. My condolences to his family and to Bengals fans..

Congratulations to the Jets. Fantastic late season collapse once again. Hopefully in two weeks we'll be looking for the team's third head coach in three seasons, as I think the entire Jets coaching staff should be fired and replaced with a competent coaching staff and a personnel staff who can finally find us a decent QB.

Well, I'm done with them. They're no longer my team. As they don't seem the least bit concerned with putting a quality product on the field, I'm no longer concerned with financially (or otherwise) supporting their lousy organization.

I'm probably done with the NFL. This, combined with last year's epic collapse with Brett Favre, has sucked any last bit of enthusiasm I've managed to maintain for the league out of me.

Congratulations on the playoff spot.

I'll be pulling for the Chargers once the Jets officially eliminate themselves from playoff contention tomorrow afternoon with a triple-digit loss to the Colts, which will hopefully be immediately followed by the dismissal of Rex Ryan, Brian Schottenheimer, and Mark Sanchez from employment with the team.
