I'm also very happy my Broncos BEAT DOWN the Chiefs in Kansas City, 44-13, for the first December win @ Arrowhead since 1994!!
Steelers lose to the Raiders???? WTF??
Patriots are looking more and more flawed with their loss to Miami..
and..whoops! The Minnesota Vikings came crashing back down to Earth last night with their loss to the Arizona Cardinals..
Overall, a very entertaining weekend in the NFL...

That is an interesting factoid, Dove. I can't believe it has been that long since we won a Dec game in KC. I'm always entertained when the Broncos win!
Good news is it looks like we are probably headed to the playoffs. Bad news is that San Diego is gaining their usual December momentum and they are looking really good this time.

BOTH of them should have won.

NO. ING. WAY. HOW can the patriots lose?! and how can the REDSKINS lose?! i was cheering for the redskins for my english teacher and they lost...
BOTH of them should have won.
I wouldn't worry about the Patriots too much. They're going to win the AFC East, by virtue of the fact that it's the worst division in professional sports. The Bills, Dolphins, and Jets are no competition for the Patriots over the long haul of a season, even though all three teams have either beaten the Pats or given them all that they can handle during a game or two this year.

Big game this weekend in Indy. It will take a minor miracle for the Broncos and maybe some intervention from the football gods, but I am pulling for a big upset!

Henry suffered severe head injuries after falling out of the rear end of a truck Wednesday afternoon, and remained on life support before finally succumbing to his injuries at 6:36 a.m.
Henry leaves behind his fiancée, Loleini Tonga, and three children: 3-year old Seini, 2-year old Chris Jr. and 10-month old DeMarcus.

Congratulations to the Jets. Fantastic late season collapse once again. Hopefully in two weeks we'll be looking for the team's third head coach in three seasons, as I think the entire Jets coaching staff should be fired and replaced with a competent coaching staff and a personnel staff who can finally find us a decent QB.
Al Gore seems alot more optimistic about the environment than you do about the Jets.
It was a gift wasn't it?

Well, I'm done with them. They're no longer my team. As they don't seem the least bit concerned with putting a quality product on the field, I'm no longer concerned with financially (or otherwise) supporting their lousy organization.

I'm probably done with the NFL. This, combined with last year's epic collapse with Brett Favre, has sucked any last bit of enthusiasm I've managed to maintain for the league out of me.

and you hated Quantum?? Life is dreary...
If you're talking about the last Bond film, that's not the case. Quantum of Solace is my favorite Bond film.

ah...Good times!
CR?
A top 5 film (#3 probably, behind QOS and LTK), now that I've made peace with the problems that I have with the film.

2nd seed in the AFC...
Congratulations on the playoff spot.
I'll be pulling for the Chargers once the Jets officially eliminate themselves from playoff contention tomorrow afternoon with a triple-digit loss to the Colts, which will hopefully be immediately followed by the dismissal of Rex Ryan, Brian Schottenheimer, and Mark Sanchez from employment with the team.
