Looks like we may sign Larry Johnson as an insurance policy...not a bad policy. 7-2 with these games remaining:
@Oakland...W
Cleveland...W
Detroit...W
@Minnesota...L
@San Diego...L
Kansas City...W
@New York Jets...W
I'd take a 12-4...even if we blow a game or two...I'll take double-digit wins!
Never would have thought we'd see this again after seeming to waste all that talent in the 05-06 season.

What a stinker of a MNF game last night!! Can we now officialy pronounce the Cleveland Browns as the WORST team in NFL??? The countdown has now started until Mangini gets fired...
Brady Quinn was jaw droppingly awful. He looked like a left handed QB trying to throw right handed. Just stunningly bad. I felt like baking 2 dozen chocolate chip cookies and leaving them on Philip Rivers' front door after watching that performance.

It seems that San Diego as a whole does appreciate Phillip Rivers (even before that NYG game-winning drive). I am amazed at how fast he has matured as a QB. The Chargers are set for a long, long time as I think he is only 26yo. Wish the guy was wearing a Bronco uniform! Hey, talk to Norv and see if he'll trade Rivers for one of our QBs. We'll even throw in a couple of draft choices...

He's 27 and soon to be 28. He did sit begind the currently great Drew Brees for two years so he got to learn alot about leadership, being a 'pro' ..etc. Yes, we are thrilled to have Rivers here, especially after the Ryan Leaf train wreck. I hated to see Brees go but Rivers hasn't dissapointed.

Relax, I was just having a bit of fun. I still think Bellichick is a great coach and I'd be happy to take him anyday over Norv Turner. But he did make a bizzarre call in that game.

*COUGH, COUGH SPYGATE!!* lol.. sorry Elizabeth.. have to disagree with you on that.. I do like the Pats and Tom Brady but ever since Spygate I have Zero respect for Belichick now.. besides he's always a grump and sourpuss in his post game interviews..no matter whether they win or lose...
Like him or not the guy wins games, titles.

Brady Quinn can play afterall-he threw 4 tds in a loss but Matt Staffrod threw a rookie record 5. The Raiders and Chiefs helped my Chargers by upsetting Cin,Pitt.
Farve continues to amaze with a 22-25 4TD day...

the patriots play the saints tonight, which is big because the saints are undefeated.
I've got a fiver on the Saints, but I'm waiting until the game is actually well and over to find out. No interest in watching the Pats unless they're up against the Steelers.

dammit! patriots lost.
Well then, I suppose I've got to start calling on people.
Saints are now 11-0. Looking like a very clean streak to the Bowl for them, so far. Any other undefeated teams left, or did the other undefeated teams finally get their handed to them?

Bengals 9-3
Ravens 6-5
Steelers 6-6
Just need one more win and we are Division Champs! We play the Vikings, Chargers, Chiefs, and Jets...should be able to pull at least one of those off!...I hope

I don't know about the Vikings and Chargers (although I will say that both of those will be fantastic games that I'm very much looking forward to), but you have two guaranteed wins coming up against the Chiefs and the Jets, so I think the Bengals will be just fine in terms of winning their division.
