Actually they shot two endings for it a few days ago. I so hate the 72 Phins

Out of curiosity i would love to see the version they did had the Patriots won.

My guess is that it would have been a Pats Truck with a note saying were moving in with the sign at the end say population 2.

It's all based on that annoying Mercury Morris who all season was making comments of don't talk to me till your in my house.

I think the last two minutes made up for any lack of excitement in the rest of the game. Good Lord, what a great drive by NY. I think we may have scared the neighbors over at my friend's house when Eli wrenched himself out of that sack and completed the "helmet pass"! (Play of the Game, by a long shot)

And great defense in that last minute, too. Great game.

hats off especially to Steve Spagnuolo, who put together one of the best defensive game plans in recent memory, to hold one of the greatest offenses ever to just 14 points.

Indeed Dalton. I just hope they don't lose him to Washington.

I don't think that they will. Washington has already assembled an entire coaching staff (save for the head coach and possibly a position coach or two), and I would imagine that a first year coach would want to establish his own coaching staff of people that he felt like he could work with so that he could put himself in the best possible position to succeed, something that I don't think is going to happen for Spagnuolo in Washington.

My guess that Jim Fassel will be the coach in Washington next season. They need a good QB-minded coach to continue to develop Jason Campbell, which is something that Fassel is very good at. The possibility of Fassel taking over for Joe Gibbs reminds me a bit of Norv Turner taking over for an all-time great coach in Marty Schottenheimer. That situation wasn't received all that well, but it turned out pretty well for the Chargers in the end, so I could see the Redskins going down that route.

Spagnuolo will get his opportunity as a head coach, but I think that it will probably come in the next offseason or, at the latest, the offseason after next.

It showed from (what I heard) Mercury Morris walking over to the Patriots house with a pie to welcome them to the block.

What an impressive game. So much for the "experts" saying that ratings would suffer because it was two Northeast teams playing. Although, being a nail biter right down to the end definitely helped! It was particularly satisfying to see Jay Alford sack, or maybe pummel, Brady in that last drive for the 10 yard loss. Congrats to the Giants!

The Mannings are a bunch of puffed-up, media-frenzied wussies; all season long the Patriots wore shirts that read I EAT HUMBLE PIE!

NFL Combine being held soon, a couple of mock drafts are out now, but are useless IMO since we don't know ho rates where just yet. More should come in the next few weeks, and you can bet on yours truly to keep things up to speed.

Right now I have not been doing blog entries, but I have some things brewing that keep me from posting there, so expect some updates on there in the next few weeks.
