Nevermind the Superbowl he might not be doing anything anytime soon. In my opinion his reputation is now permanently ruined. But he really had no choice with all the others invovled in the case pleading there guilt to a degree. But i'm glad he plead guilty because in my mind he is.I'm a pet lover so this whole situation makes me angry.I don't think Michael Vick will make it to the Superbowl this year...he just pled guilty to the charges.

Bengals vs Eagles? I'll give you points for originality.I think it has to be SD, the Pats, the Colts again(not really) or The Saints...but...I love the Saints in the NFC-they are gonna be miles ahead of every other NFC team nmho. Their Offense will be even better with a improving Regge Bush and Robert Meachem, Drew Brees even more comfortable in the system...I thought you were a Saints guy????
Little story about the Saints. In the 2001 season, many 'experts' felt the Saints could be the best team in the NFC. We had a 1st year coach take us to the playoffs, knock off the defending SB Champs in the playoffs, and looked to be the best team in a wide open conference. Then this team collapsed. Look, I am a realist, I have hopes, but am not optimistic. The Saints cannot stop the run, and have other issues on defense as well as Special Teams. For the first time ever, the talent is here, but we were lucky with injuries last year, and to tempt fate twice in as many years is making me cautious. On Sept 6, we will see if the Saints are as good as we are told-or if they are just the same old flash in the pan Saints we have seen for many years.

But you never had a set of 'triplets' before. Brees,Bush and Meachem...and Colsten...make that quadruplets. I think the Saints are marching to the SB. The Colts made it last yr with a very leaky D...you gotta believe!

By the way, I heard on Sunday Night Football last night that the Broncos are one of a couple of teams who have initiated talks with recently cut Eagle, Jeramiah Trotter! Wouldn't it be nice if we could land him?

In other news, Bills TE Kevin Everret's injury is catastrophic.. He most likely will never walk again and the injury is life threatening!! Oh man, this is just heartbreaking!! My thoughts and prayers go out to him his family and the Buffalo Bills organization..

Not really. The Pats have the 49ers 1st rounder as well next season, so they can make up for it there. They are the most talented team in the NFL, but if they are forced to work at a lower cap number (As they should be for what they did) then and only then will the Pats really suffer.

In other news my Broncos had another nail-biting finish against the Oakland Raiders 23-20 in OT. But we never should have let them come from a 17-3 defecit. Thank god Shanahan had the perfect timing to call time out just before Janikowski's 50 yard field goal would have won it for the Raiders. Take two, and Janikowski doinked it off the top of the goal post!!

Oakland got robbed with that late timeout, The Dove; I thought that was bs but lucky you. As for SD, yeah, they got clobbered all right! But that's a game weren't not suppose to win, especially after Tape-Gate.Still, 1-1 vs the SB Bears and AFC champ finalists...I'm not panicking yet but that offense needs to start clicking ASAP. The Saints are doing much worse on O than the Bolts and I expected them to be 1-1.
Yeah Tarl, I'm actually more concerned with how bad the Saints are looking at the moment. SD will get on track.. I guess you and I have our first show down in three weeks! Can't wait that will be exciting!! In the meantime, as I've said before, the Broncos need to find a way score more touchdowns.. We can't keep relying on Jason Elam to win it for us.. we have some tough games ahead.. Jacksonville this week at home, then Indianapolis, in Indy!! *GULP* and then the Chargers come to town.. By the way Tarl, I love the new Chargers uniforms.. very stylish!!

Oh man, Denver got plain out embarrassed at home by those stinkin' Jacksonville Jaguars 23-14!! Of course it doesn't help that the Jags had the ball on offense for most of the freakin first half!! Denver only got like 3 offensive plays in the first quarter!!. On the other hand, our defense was absolutely terrible!! We couldn't stop Maurice Jones-Drew, or Fred Taylor while on our side, Travis Henry only got 35 yards total!! Wow.. we are in trouble.. Next week, a visit to Indy to take on Peyton Manning and those pesky Colts!! *GULP!!*

Those were the 1933 throwback uniforms, and apparently they worked quite well. My Lions actually looked like the Lions yesterday. What the hell were those ugly uniforms that the Eagles wore yesterday? LOL..
